This past Saturday, NinjaNick and I rode over to DTM to get my F4i dynotuned. Its a long and boring ride from Dayton but worth it in the end. I think we had 27 pulls for the day. Brian sure knows his stuff when it comes to tuning a bike. My bike wasnt cooperating with Brian as far as the A/F ratios went, at the beginning. Brian kept his cool and stuck with it, fine tuning the fuel table until he got it right where he wanted it. It was about 2.5 hours of tuning not counting lunch and other stuff. Even though I only gained 3/10 of a hp and 1 ft # torque, the A/F curve was a lot more smooth and after riding the bike, I was impressed at how much harder the bike pulls in the lower to midrange RPMs now and the throttle is a little more crisp than it was before. Brian said I should have better MPG too. It was fun just watching him run the bike and hearing it scream. The best part of the session was lunch. We ordered pizza from Don Ginos ( I think thats the name). Probably some of the best pizza I have ever had, minus all the extra grease that came free of charge. Basically, I just wanted to say thanks to Brian for working me in for a Tune on a Saturday morning, and thanks for taking your time tuning the bike. His prices are very good and he knows what he is doing. I am trying to talk my neighbor into taking his bike to Brian someday. Im sure Brian enjoyed NinjaNick's stories too....priceless
