  1. Damn dustin. this sucks. I am just finding out. didnt figure you were moving so soon. We've known eachother since grade school. whos gonna do my valves next year along with my shift kit? Guess Ill be doing it. want to give me your home made tripple tree front stand? Good luck tho, I know its something you have been planning for a while. gues we wont get to ride together this year lol

and Arfro, Ill work on your bike, I know most of what dustin knows only without the sweet shop and no tire changer

  2. I have heard mixed reviews about Sporty's but dont have any personal experience with them. I would say go to dustin because he can do it fast and could probably meet you anytime because he is pretty flexible. Just looked at the weather in the area today. doesnt call for any rain. Well, 10% chance, but that means nothing in Ohio

  3. Pure riding. Someone usually just volunteers to lead and we go out to ride.
stopping for a bite to eat was the norm when thursday night rides started in 08.
Not sure why its different, but yes im showing 115 pages

  4. There was... I happened to notice the stop ahead sign and sat up just before I saw someone (ExtremeF4i maybe) waving his arms for all of us to slow down because there was an accident ahead.

I just threw my hand up signaling to slow down/stop. I saw the stop ahead sign but when you are going that fast, it sneaks up quick. Glas to hear Suntorn is doing ok.

Btw...we know Suntorn went down. But who was the other rider on the Gsxr?

The other guy was Starcade. He doesnt post much. I work with him and glad him and the bike faired well

  5. Nice riding with all of you. Sucks right when i got there my drain bolt had started to back itself out and had to get a quart of oil at the HD dealer.

    The two ducati's were nasty!

when we pulled up at the HD dealer, it looked like they were closed. was one of the hardleys there someone who worked there? SO that they could sell you some oil?

  6. The last bad get off was about 10 bikes back probably. I didn't know where he came from. It was scary shit for sure. Glad he's going to be fine though...just needs some healing time for the broken bones.

I think it was 2-3 bikes behind me, making it maybe 6-7 bikes back. I remember hearing the bike come flying up and seeing it all happened. it was so fast, I couldnt process it in time. but damn it was freaky to watch. Hope he is ok

BTW...after a full bird Colonel and a Major, Captain, Lieutenant and then a Tech Sergeant yelled at me for not getting ole boy help sooner...I think it is my place to tell us all...CALL A DAMN AMBULANCE!!!

Then you you do that, cops get involved, you have to pay for a ticket and your liscense gets some nice points on it. If it were me, I wold not have wanted cops there.

I am beyond bummed I didn't get to go today. We must have another one of these.

I think I saw you riding by sonic yesterday sometime after 5 when I was comming home from picking up Dominos. You were with an FZ6 maybe?

  7. he just needed an excuse to use the Asshole smiley!

This is very true. I was searching for the perfect one

I'm not worried about any of that. I just want to make sure someone will be at the end to polish my Chrome. Probably should make sure they're at the hs photo op, too. Cruisers gotta look good.

I always clean my chrome before every ride I take. I am picky about riding a clean bike. its part of my pre-ride inspection. Chrome looks good but can be a pain at times

  8. I will post a map soon this morning. I'm about to go to google and make one for you guys. We all don't ride together as a group all the time Fazerlady and we don't have time in our lives for others to go out to study routes so they can lead others. I just created a thread to see if people want to get together for a ride. This ride is all country and maybe 1 stop light in the whole 3 or more hours. Stop signs mostly. We've done this about 4x in the past 3 years and no problems at all. It's mostly the newcomers that are freaking out before even experiencing it first. Just relax, show up if you want, and enjoy the ride/day. Everything will be ok...I promise! ;)

    Yes SIR....:asshole:

  9. Na, those Polaris 500 engines are bulletproof and the carbs on those things are simple. Ive worked at a polaris shop full time/part time for almost 10 years now..... I know them better than Dustin. when you finally do blow it up, I may be helping Dustin...

  10. Larry, I saw that Polaris in Dustin's shop, didnt know it was yours. Anyways, Dustin has done a lot is Misc. stuff sor me over the years and have always been pleased. REgarding tires, hes done mine too, and for cheaper than any shop around. I guess you could say hes known for his rim jobs....
