  1. GL. this is a nice set. I sold my green Tama Rockstar Custom similarly set up as yours for $500 about 2 years ago. I was suprised I got that much but I had some extras too. For reference, a buddy sold his pearl export about a month ago for $450. you should be able to unload it for that, just waiting for the right buyer. I miss my set, but have no place for one anymore

  2. Ive got Dunlop Roadsmarts on my 600. You dont get much of a flat spot in the center since its got the harder compound there, compared to a sport tire. And the sides of the tires stick like glue. Ive had the tires leaned over edge to edge and never had one traction issue. NinjaNick also has roadsmarts on his ZX14 and he loves them too! if they can hold up on a 1400cc, I see no problem with them on a 1000cc.

  3. The media is so F*cking retarded. The stock bike they were revving up was a 600 and they couldnt have been revving past 5-6K RPM. The 2nd bike they were revving up, claiming was too loud was a 1000 with aftermarket exhaust. Of course it will be louder. Free flowing exhaust and a larger engine. Plus the 1000, they were revving the piss out of it sounded like. I doubt they will make aftermarket exhausts illegal... and what aftermarket sportbike exhaust has a "baffle plate"? NONE!!! I also noticed the bike shop they were doing the REV comparos at was Southside Suzuki aka Yamaha of Troy, aka Honda of Troy, which isnt in B-Creek, so why do they give a shit about the noice ordinance?

  4. Yes 15 into it including price of bike......i have five bikes and this one has sat the most.....my little 50 gets more attention lol

Wow, Cant have too many toys. Id have a hard time deciding to ride the 1K or this one. For the cost of converting a dirt bike to Sumo, this is a steal. the buyer is basically getting a free bike if they were to add up what it costs for all the parts. If My wife wouldnt kill me, I would love to have it

  5. I was envious of the bright white lights you guys had when I saw them in my mirrors and xtreme and I have plain 'ol yellow ones. :(

I may be going the HID route soon Nick, so it will be just you with the yellows. But as we saw today< your brights are blinding white.

  6. Xtreme, look into Xebrites Projectors with the Halos if you like Darius's setup.

Thanks man. I checked them out. IDK if they would look good on the ole' F4i since she has such large headlights. The projectors are so small. It might look like a frankenstein bike when its done. I may just go the cheap route and get an HID set up for under $100. I do agree that painting the stock reflector housing black looks better when the projectors are installed. Why dont you put these projectors on your bike? when I googled them, it looked like mostly 636 guys were doing this mod

  7. WTF!!!? FTP! The biker didnt even act like he was going to do anything. Just looking back at the piggy. That cop should go to jail for life for F*cking up someone else's life and he should never be able to enforce the law again. I watched the clip twice waiting for something to prove the officer had a reason to shoot the biker. WTF was he thinking? Its BS and I hope that cop gets found guilty.

  8. i be there....get them tires scuffed in

I live in columbus (upper arlington) so if anyone wants to meet and ride there together that'd be cool

KC, that you? looking forward to riding with ya again. hows the flat track going?

Wow! 29 people including maybes.... this may be a new record ride considering it is a non charity event and not OR sponsored

  9. DTM Brian is a good guy. Great rates for OR members. He knows his stuff and takes his time tuning your bike, not just throwing a pre set tune for your particular bike. We did some tuning and grabbed some Don Gino's pizza. mmm that was good $5 large pizza. I was pleased with my bike after the tune. Deff a lot smoother and more broad powerband

  10. State Farm Ins, #1 for bike insurance!

IF you have a clean record.

State Farm originally gave me a super cheap quote on my super moto but then said they could not insure me because I have a couple speeding tickets. State Farm will cover a bike only if you are clean but if you have any violations, they wont cover you unless you insure your cars with them. I gave them a chance to quote my cars since the quote for the bike was so cheap. Turns out, they wanted almost $1,000 more per year than what I currently pay, with the exact same coverages... I looked at Geico, I think I am going thru them. Calling tomorrow
