So we went over to QS and Lube tonight (douche bag central) and are just checking out some of the rides when I notice a Hypermotard ride in. I start talking with the guy and he looks over his shoulder and we both spot another Hypermotard pulling up. Guy jumps off, takes off his helmet and it is Larry Pegram, I couldn't believe it. This is a well known potential problem with Aprilia 04+ RSV1000R's. On the Ape, it has been linked to certain electrical connections that had poorly crimped wires...which then led to corrosion, which caused them to overheat and fry the stator. Yeah, not sure, however, they have two mounting styles, there is a "plug" for hollow bars, or you can remove that and just use a clamp.

Here is another shot, I got them from indysuperbikes and they were $55 per PAIR!!! They were so cheap, I accidently bought 2 pairs thinking they were sold as each.. I was going to try and return the extra pair but if you are interested, I will sell them to you for $55. At least you wouldn't have to pay shipping...

Motrax bar end mirrors.....seem to be of a decent quality and the view is EXCELLENT!
