So if I understand you correctly, you have a patient pool of 100, it expands to 500, and now your less available for those 100? So the additional 400 who wouldn't have had coverage before and more than likely unable to pay your 5k charge are less better off than before? Look I buy the rest of the shit you said but how is this even relevant? You have to by law get car insurance to protect the rest of the assholes you can possibly hit and you pretty much have to drive. Not having health insurance is just a risk some people are willing to take, and for the record not one I support, and they aren't putting anyone else at risk by not having it. When that gamble doesn't go their way then they should know what they've had in store for themselves. Don't assume that b/c his wife is prego that she also has no insurance. She may have a plan of her own. If not then a 200 dollar ulcer is the least of his worries and he should probably sell that brand new bike he just got and pony up for some insurance. Delivering a healthy baby is well over 25k in medical bills and god forbid some additional care be needed b/c that number would quickly grow.

My SD780 takes excellent macro shots. I was VERY impressed with its macro performance. I did a lot of research before getting it and I have nothing but great things to say about it, when used within its capabilities. The 720p video it takes looks pretty darn good on my 55" LED tv too. I had it in my pocket all day today and couldnt even tell it was there. Its just a little thicker than my blackberry.

I love the little camera, it takes some great shots. These settings are low light and with lots of motion so the p&s just isn't keeping up and a lot of shots come out very blurry. I dont know a lot about photography and havent had the time to dedicate to learning more. I'd love to take a class or sit down with someone who could give me some knowledge on taking better shots.

Our SD780 just isn't cutting it for action shots of my daughters cheer competitions so I think it's time I splurge on a DSLR. I'm doing lots of reading on dpreview.com and other photoblog sites but looking for some recommendations. We're heading to DC next weekend so not only would I be shooting her competition but I'll also be taking some shots of the nations capital. I'm looking at something in the realm of a D40 or a XS or XSi. I'd like to get something used in the 350-500 range. Anyone know of a killer deal??

I watched the clips on espn from his first fight and that dude is a beast for someone nearly 50. There's no way Canseco will be able to stand with him for more than 15 seconds. Velasquez is the real deal and will keep Nogueira on his back more than a 2 dollar whore. Nogueira hasn't looked very good imo in the past 3-4 fights and Velasquez has been beating bitches down. Wanderlei Silva beats Michael Bisping. These guys will go toe to toe and bang it out and I think Silva lands some heavy shots. Bisping looked like a turd against Henderson. He's got heart for sure but I think Silva gets him in the clinch and lands some knees to the face. Joe Stevenson vs. George Sotiropoulos. I dont know much about Sotiropoulos. I know Stevenson has come grenades in his fists but he never seems to connect on the big shots. I think Joe's experience against great opponents gets him through this. He doesnt have a great track record against good submission artists so i'm a little on the fence here. If Sotiropoulos softens him up with strikes he may flail an arm out there and get caught. Keith Jardine vs. Ryan Bader. Jardine does have a funky style and I think he chops this dude down with kicks. Bader has never really impressed me in the 2 times i've seen him fight. Hes a good striker so I think Jardine will counter that with the legs. Jardine has a pretty good record against good stikers and hes fought some great ones (Liddell, Jackson, Griffin). Jardine gets the win. Mirko Filipović vs. Ben Rothwell - Both are veterans. CroCop can keep his size at bay with the kicks I think. If it comes to punches I think Rothwell has the advantage. CroCop should be able to destroy his legs with some inside leg kicks so Rothwell wont be able to get in tight enough. Im going with CroCop. If he loses hes done.

That is some street justice right thur. That guy got what was coming to him. I watched something very similar as a kid with my own grandpa. The short version of the story is neighborhood bully is down in my yard f'ing with me.
