  6. I'm still available to work the HD Cam in the dressing room for the car models. The sacrifices I make for the greater good....
  7. How selfless is that? I pray to god someone would do the same for my girls in that situation, only hopefully not get killed in the process. God bless her for what she did.
  8. Got this via email, found it pretty damn funny. Hope its not a repost bc I did a damn search before posting. http://www.qubetv.tv/videos/detail/3483
  9. That's all well and good, but if you want to be taken seriously as a business it seems that I and everyone else feels that pot smoking chicks aren't the best business affiliate. Running something more automotive related is definitely the way to go. From an online magazine standpoint I wish you luck. It takes a lot of dedication to the cause to keep the site updated and 'fresh'. IMO there are already a million FAQ sites online with pictures so your probably not going to be doing anything new there. Why not try to enhance your e-commerce page with some links to the proper methods of applying the detailing product along with links to recommended microfiber towels...etc? Some before-after pictures of cars detailed with the product?
  10. Looks good. Do you guys have dyno results for each stage of upgrade? Ie our cam has this result, our heads have this result...etc. I dont have an LSx yet but in the event I did I would be interested in that data.
  11. Taken from another forum I'm a member of - - - http://cbs2.com/local/Riverside.Street.Racing.2.687707.html http://www.pe.com/localnews/rivcounty/stories/PE_News_Local_R_streetrace01.4234d9b.html City Press Release: http://www.riversideca.gov/rpd/press/mar29b08.pdf Using {part of a grant totalling} $503,000 in federal and state gas tax revenue to pay for overtime, nine police agencies in Riverside, California sent more than one hundred {or as few as 50 depending on who you believe} police officers to surround a gathering of automotive enthusiasts. Owners of imported sport compact cars had gathered at the Canyon Crossing shopping center on Friday night to swap stories, talk about their passion for cars and show off the latest enhancements to their rides. At around 11pm police surprised participants by blocking all exits with fifty police cruisers. Officers then began a warrantless search and interrogation operation of the 150 vehicles that were present. Police issued a total of forty-eight tickets for "engine modifications" with police accusing the owners of the parked vehicles of being street racers. Another fifty tickets were issued for paperwork violations, dark window tinting and lack of a front license plate. The most revenue, however, will be generated from the fees imposed on twenty vehicles that were confiscated. Despite labeling the parking lot raid as taking place at a "street racing venue," Riverside Police offered no evidence that any street racing actually took place. Other law enforcement agencies participating in Friday night's raid included the California Highway Patrol, Riverside County Sheriff's Department, and police from Baldwin Park, Fontana, Irwindale, Moreno Valley, Ontario and Mount San Jacinto Community College. "If you're not into street racing, why would you need that?" "Why would you want more power going to your car?" Riverside Police Traffic Sergeant Skip Showalter asked an enthusiast during a similar crackdown last year. I'd be pissed if this happened in our area. Thoughts??
  12. LOL. QFT I hope he gets the body work fixed soon so we can have some fun with it at Norwalk.
  13. You see the dickhats raised tuition AGAIN? Its raised like 150 bucks per credit hour in the time I've been there. I'm so glad i'm going into my last semester. Fucking crooks. I know they are cool cars, but why are they sellling for such high prices? Are they considered collectors items now b/c of how old they are? There are some BADASS cars to be had for 80k.
  14. The camera is behind where you enter the intersection, so it took a picture of the rear of my car, me going through the light a second later, and a close-up of the license plate. It showed that I slowed to 3mph but never came to a complete stop. I normally don't stop when its not completely necessary b/c its lame and its a total waste of gas. Whatever, I'll consider this a convenience fee for doing it safely for the past 11 yrs. Isn't it necessary that they put a sign in the intersection stating they use the camera there? I thought thats why people bitched about the increase in accidents as a result of these cameras. Makes no difference, just wondering.
  15. Fail to come to a complete stop at a traffic light with a red light camera. YES!! Apparently there is one located on the corner of Frebis and Parsons. I have nothing better to do with my money so I figure I should test out their equipment from time-to-time. I considered making paper airplanes out of 20 dollar bills and flying them into my lit fireplace but this is much cooler. Looks like I'll have to start obeying traffic laws. SNORE. /rant
  16. I emailed you about the sofa/love seat. I have a friend who may be interested. Please respond asap.

  18. Cracker'd Out? White on White looks ridiculous IMHO.
  19. He did some work on my last motor. The prices were comparable to most builders in the area and he turned it around in a decent time frame. The quality was what I expected. The guy is not a talker what-so-ever. You'll have better luck at chatting with your machined parts.
  20. Damn rear world I'm in the same boat. Last semester and I dont feel like doing a damn thing. Spring is creeping up so i'm not going to want to take classes in the evening like I am. I can't wait to be done.
  21. TURBOED made a good choice on the AVSforum, that place is probably the best source of knowledge on the net for AV. I would highly recommend the Panasonic your looking at. Panasonic makes some awesome HD projectors. My buddy has a 720p older model and it looks spectacular shining on a piece of drywall. I'd go with a screen myself. For 150-250 bucks you can pick up a pretty nice one. A DIY setup like John made would be a good alternative if you've got the time and want to save some dough. If you've got a lot of time on your hands check this out- http://anandtech.com/weblog/showpost.aspx?i=417
  22. Do you stand behind your work? You said lifetime warranty so if Im unhappy with the way something lines up or the finish of the paint you would work with me to resolve these issues to my liking??
  23. KSU killed me too. I had USC getting to the sweet 16. Mayo played a hell of a game but Kansas State kept going on runs every time they got close. That was a pretty good game, fast paced and all.
