Yes its 490, regular not accelerated. I know Keith well, we've had a lot of classes together as well. This is one class that I don't mind taking the full 15 weeks to complete. Depending on the project that your actually taking on you may need the full course to complete it. 8 weeks is pretty tight.

I had ALOT of classes with Ryan in our program, hes a nice guy. I am in Gollo's class right now, hes the reason why I took this class right now. I'm working on my senior project at DeVry and we need to partner with a local organization (church, NFP org, school, small business) on some type of networking related project. Could be something as simple as updating to wireless access points or wiring up a office,to something more complex like setting up a remote network management solution. The problem with 6.1 and 7.1 is there are so few movies that output that signal. Hopefully we'll see some higher bitrate encoding with the HD dvd/bluray players. My Denon will do 7.1 but i didnt feel like setting that up in my greatroom. Maybe in the home theater room I'm building but I dont need it right now. I only have 2-3 movies that have 6.1 and I dont think any with 7.1.

I use HDMI for digital picture and optical cables for sound. If i'm reading your stuff right it sounds like you are trying to have the receiver upconvert composite or component inputs to a HDMI out to the TV? John are you missing a center channel there or are you using your TV as the center? Mine is similar, except i have a rear center (6.1) plus a normal center channel infront of my tv.

Are you looking for a home theater in a box type setup? Onkyo isn't bad, i'd rate it better than sony any day (personal preference). HHGregg has a Harmon Kardon setup that actually didn't sound too bad at all. You can get much better stuff gently used from http://www.audiogon.com or just checking out ebay. I'd grab a marantz receiver, b/c they have very clean power for the money, and a set of used paradigm speakers.

We had a lot of time to prepare for last years BCS game too There is also quite a big difference between the Illinois offense and the Wvu attack. They have 4 guys with sub 4.45 speed that can get the ball on each and every play. Just look at the stats for White and Slaton the past 2 years, its sick. Our defense would definitely need to bring their A game for that showdown. I'm rooting for UConn tomorrow at 3:30.

I already covered that. If someone comes into my home I'm going to do what it takes to protect my girls, that's kind of a no-brainer. We're in agreement that in that situation anything is fair game. My argument was that deadly force is a little extreme given the situation. I was more making an assumption(likely my first mistake) that b/c of his conservative beliefs that he was a person of faith. People of faith look to the bible, and it pretty clearly says thou shall not kill. It doesn't say its cool if someone is jacking your rims. If I need to I'll hunt for the scripture where its said to love your enemies and pray for those who try to persecute you. I guess being a Sunday Christian is easier for everyone though. If your labeling him a liberal I'll guess your more conservative with your beliefs. Crack open a bible and see what it has to say about killing someone. I agree with doing what you have to in order to protect your family if someone breaks into your house. I had an american bulldog for years. Jeff is right in saying the dog is very strong, my dog took nearly all my strength to hold back when she wanted to go. If you have young kids I'd be cautious with the breed b/c they are so strong and the ones i've been around were hyper (mine knocked down little ones on a few occasions from jumping).
