  1. cartronix 614-861-4477 great prices, good work
  2. i don't have a hook up, but i would recommend the newark branch, they did the bed on my superduty. looks great, amazingly strong!!
  3. BAD ASS bikes! i love XS650s. so much you can do to them with little time and cash.
  4. "They don't sell this kind of battery or charger at the auto parts store or make them for bikes or cars." wrong, it's called a Ctek Pony has three different ones in stock. all of which say specific for wet, sealed, agm, dry cell, calcium, and gel. i own two of these chargers. bettery tender also sells a charger specific for the true gel battery. the only real diffrence is the charging speed, you want low amps and longer time to charge the battery, which is why you don't want to use a normal style car charger.
  5. how did you form the abs to the right shape? bike looks great love the paint job, new take on a classic.
  6. that wouldn't run very well, you know the carbs and oil pump kind of isn't designed for quite that angle....

    which one

ps3, no ring of death. and i feel the controller is much more comfy.
  8. should be pretty easy, not a task to take on your own. Should invite at least a few people over to help (by watching with a beer in hand) in case something were to happen.
  9. advantages -discharge less over time -handle heat, cold, and vibrations better -can't leak -and best of all, the're blue!!!
  10. I've got a gel in my VFR awesome, and a two year warranty.
  11. I'll ask justin at work....
  12. Ehh the pipe is a little big don't ya think? Other than that looks like you do some awesome work, and the bike will turn out great!
  13. What kind of cranking amps do these things put out? I just don't see these starting my VFR..i can see using them on a supermoto, dual sport or something like that but for any sport bike or cruiser i see it kind of hard that they would actually start them, especially more than once. My dual sport used the kind of batteries that battery back ups, and emergency lights use, and it was good for about 10 mins. if the bike wasn't running, and thats just with a 35w head light and a led tail.
  14. If you get it the first thing you NEED to do is rejet it and put a pipe on it. These bikes are amazing but choke them selves to death to meet emissions. Yamaha sells a AIS removal kit, for $50, well worth the performance increase.Look for lack of attention to chain/sprocket adjustment, noises due to lack of greasing bearings, axles, and suspension pieces, all easy fixes but should help beat down price.
  15. It has a built in fm radio, and you can stream music from bluetooth devices, so yes. And you can control the music depending on the source, like my Tour.
  16. I have one!! Amazing units!! very impressed with how well it works with my Blackberry tour. Use it mostly for music from my phone and to answer phone calls if needed. Battery life is at least 9 hours with music playing, only used it till dead once. Can't say for the bike to bike capabilities personally, though i have talked with many other users that have, and are impressed with the rang for a bluetooth unit.
  17. Bike now looks different. MUST update sig pic (while still including the wife).

Looks alot like my 94 viffer....damMM!
  19. You do not have to have a bike inspected to have the title changed over. If anyone at the BMV tells you that, them them to call the central office to set them straight. You shouldn't make a 2 stroke street legal but you "can". nothing on the title indicates that it is 2 or 4 stroke for them to know. It is how ever harder to do. Finding a lighting coil that puts out enough wattage to power everything is the hardest. Best bet is to get a flywheel and stator off a wr 2 stroke, pretty much bolt up and plug in. also the power of a 2 stoke is not well tamed on the street and would be more likely to draw attention. You would also have to keep a bottle of premix on you so you can fill up. When i made my yz426f street legal i was disappointed with the lack of ride-ability, because of limited top speed (even with a 16/40 gearing, stock was 14/49) and the bikes don't like consistant speeds.
