  1. Hedrick rad. went out about a year ago if i remember right.
  2. That 600 is piss slow feeling compared to your Max Nor are the brakes that much better, If stoping power is an issue, up grading the calipers (r1's bolt up fairly easy), master cylinder(radial), and lines can go a long way for little dough. The R1 could be a good bike as long as it's been well taken care of. Check for valve noise, and if he has had the valves adjusted etc. Most sport bikes don't live to have that many miles on it because of being wreaked and not well maintained, not because they aren't reliable with a bit of miles.

  8. It is. come see me at pony and i have some foam that we can put in there. The cheek pads come apart on the back side so we can stick some foam back there, and the head liner comes out as well, so if needed we can do the same up there.
  9. They are pretty awesome, your really floating on air. No vibrations, no pressure points, channeled so you get some air flow through it.

  14. On a bone stock bike you would not notice the difference between the two. Going by the research the foam will out flow a paper while having simular filtering abilities. the foam ones should have to be oiled though, if it wasn't oiled it will just suck dirt. The oil is sticky to stop the dirt. If you just want a regular air filter i'd opt for the paper just because they are less messy.
  15. I'm a big believer in K&N filters. I have had one in every car or truck i have ever owned. With no issues from any of them. I have also noticed performance increases and better MPG's in all but one, my 2002 jeep 4.0L. I just last week put one on my 06 mustang and 03 powerstroke. This winter i installed on on my VFR and my grizzly.
  16. It's really hard not to ride it like a dumb ass...lol

  22. I have a 2002 yamaha yz426 that i have converted to a dual sport/ street legal bike. I have owned this bike since 2005 and have invested a ton of money into it. here is a list of most resent parts list and repairs. -brand new (250 miles) Avon roadrider tires 90/90-21 front 100/90-19 rear -new sprockets and chain (16-42 gearing for higher top speed) -Electrosport dakar dual sport kit ( over $500 new!) -Wr factory stator and flywheel, high out put for the lights -sunline fat bars with new grips and mounts -Electrosport digital speedo/tach display -Ebc carbon X pads front and rear (stops well from any speed) -FMF powercore 4 slip on W/factory header, wraped with creme header tape (keeps the heat off your legs) -re-jetted -graphics kit was new last year -new front wheel bearings -new fork seals and fluid -PIAA super blue high output headlight bulb -MSR racing kick stand -works connection frame guards -carbon fiber skid plate also comes with -new number plate backgrounds -new front fender -billet tripple clamp and other part that have been replaced or removed. In the last 6 months it went from a full fledged dirt bike to a dual sport. It is fully street legal and now has a motorcycle title with working horn, headlight, turn signals, brake light and more. It also has a fresh top end with a valve adjustment, cam chain, and rings (less than 500 miles since). I'm looking to get $2500 out of it. I would trade for a cool CB750, XS650, Magna, Vmax, other cool cruisers or sport touring bikes. http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/1744206301.html
