  1. nice bike, enjoy the riding while you can ohio can have some funny weather.
  2. yeah i cant say i would trust them i kbbed the bike i traded in and lets just say the number they showed me from their book was and i didn't double check on before i gave it to them was alot lower then what i found. shady shady on their part
  3. if you are going to make the move then at least make sure they stick some frame sliders on the gsxr but i hear the 750 is really the way to go. and as stupid as it sounds i really wish i would have held out for the 3 mil offer i really loved my little 250
  4. see there i go :beathorse:again. thanks everyone i knew i wasn't the only one with a bad experience, but it has been nice to find out from so many that hinds is one of the worst bike shops in town.
  5. don't sell it don't sell it, trust me the moment you do you will regret it. a 250 is like the ugly sister that puts out. sure you don't want your friends to know but she is the best ride in town. i sold my 07 and unless they are going to give you 3000 grand you are going to regret it.
  6. i still say the funniest thing is the fact that they wont sell it in the US. don't worry give HD another 100 years and they will be at 95hp easy out of 1200 but no matter the name, maker or label it still has two wheels, and isn't that what counts
  7. matte black is always cooler than any other color. though in this case not literally
  8. well its not a road king its built off of the sporties engine. but they uped the hp by adding oil cooling to the heads and gave it a 40 degree lean clearance. its the xr1200 built in honor of the xr750 flat track racer http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/harley-davidson/2008-harleydavidson-xr1200-review-80682.html
  9. oh and if you are going to work on your bike get the right tool for the job. it may cost you up front but not having to replace a 60 dollar part (oil filter bolt on a 73 honda 350f is 11mm not 12mm) because you didn't have a 4 dollar socket is always going to be a stupid move.
  10. well heck thats not as bad as i thought. i was in Honda metropolitan land
  11. let me know when you want to part with it. i might be interested. the worst thing i ever did was get rid of my 250. sure it wasn't fast but it was some of the most fun riding i have had.
  12. yeah well look what hd is pulling out of its bag for the rest of the world, yep not to be released in the us. to sporty i guess. plus what insult could you come up for with this.
  13. i could use a red one, i will be a qsl next week. any word on cost
  14. i don't know about that. i am sure they are effective at getting money from people. they threatened to garnish my wages and pursue me in every legal way they could if i dropped my bike during the test ride. this is the same bike mind you that had its handle bars in the wrong/non stock position because when they transported it from their storage to the store and the clip ons slid down the forks. i mean sure nothing instills confidence like having your hand wedge itself between the fairing and the handle bar. of course i didn't notice this nice little surprise until after i had bought the bike. the right clip on was about an inch down from the fork bridge and left clip on was about an inch and a half. how they missed that one i will never know. but again it was my first bike with clip ons, but now i know to look for that when buying a new bike.
  15. hey i think so far i have been fairly nice in my comments about their service and staff i would only expect the same from them if they did decide to comment
  16. well it seems like i am not the only one that has an issue with them. i just feel bad for anyone who chooses to go to them in the future. king i know what you mean. i don't think i got a fair shake on my trade in this was an expensive lesson i learned from the HINDS expierence, but then again i am the smarter for it and whenever i have a friend looking for a bike i can show them in a very tangable (rodent nest) way what you get when you go to them. just be glad that hinds has not found this post look at what the owner had to say about another person that complained http://www.triumphrat.net/twins-talk/87234-problems-with-hine-s-motorsports-in-columbus-ohio-2.html page two is awesome i am so and i know it.
  17. oh yeah its old and leaks gas but at the end of the day it is more fun to ride than my sv650s. mostly because when you get on it you don't know if you are going to be riding or pushing it home.
  18. oh that black tank is the piece of shit tank that sludged up my carbs. only one thing to do break out the kreem
  19. feeling sick all day but i did get some pics of the 350f oh and ignore the mess on the patio its also where i work on the bikes
  20. yeah pin stripes are cool but take time and money unless you know someone and i don't know anyone plus pinstripes are to classy for my bike
  21. yep http://www.ricepaddymotorcycles.com its down by the fair grounds. they have been a big help to me getting some of the harder to find pieces for my bike
  22. indeed the flatter the better. if they had black hole in a can i would buy it and paint my bikes with it
