what can i say other than there are always thing that just don't work out. i really don't think it is right for a dealer to sell a bike with a rodent nest in it. but they do. i got angry i got pissed. i found others with the same problem, and then i got over it. i mean if the dealer really wanted to help out they could give you a deal on another bike, and pick up the problems with kawi themselves. you might take a hit but in the long run the time spent on trying to get something done might not be worth the fact that in the end it will be a day late and a season of riding short i don't know what you have been up to or what is happening but thats just my 2 cents granted my bike is in good shape and runs like a top. but in the future i will be learning and doing as much work on the bike as i can. i would rather do my own work and know it is done right than have to be reliant on other to tell me it was done right.

darn shame i hope the best for you. i know when i had my issues Suzuki stepped up big time to help out. otherwise i wouldn't still have the bike

yeah but then it would be comfortable and that would suck. who wants to ride a bike that you can get off and actually have feeling in your hands. shhhhh...thats why i keep the 70's Honda's around

thanks i guess if you got super excited you could probably swap out the clip ons with some from a non s model. or you know you could just get the non s version wow that went no where thanks you ought to see it at night with the leds on

i will admit when i am in the car i am more prone to look out for bikes then i was before i started riding. i will even do what i can to make life easier for other riders. but there are times when i don't always check my blind spot as well as i should and sure enough some of the time there is a weekend warrior HD rider sitting back there off my corner waiting to get hit. and before the flaming starts i say very specifically weekend warrior HD rider because of the few times this has happened the bikes have always been HD's and two of the times the riders honk, flip birds then pull over to answer cell phones while trying to look hard as hell. i don't know about the rest of the riders here but the last place i try to be is in a cagers blind spot when riding. (oh yeah i am not against HD's my dad owns one and my first solo was on one)

i had about 4000 on mine before i traded mine in and as i have stated i miss it. they are not the fastest bike but they are fast feeling. plus i can almost promise you that with gas only going up a that 250 will be a gold mine in the spring no matter how many mile you put on it.

i feel your pain being 5' 4" is a no fun. good luck with the plate mod. make sure the all the wiring is water tight. tracking down a short in the rain is shocking .

helmets are a good thing to have on no matter what. mine saved half my face once. RIP
