MSRP on the bike is $3500. tell the dealer you want it 'out the door for 4' they are gonna want title and doc fee's, telling them 4k is fair. just keep coming back every weekend, they will eventually sell it to you for 4. Honestly if it was me I would try to get it out the door for $3500 or less, I would just keep coming back and cutting it up with them every weekend until they made me the deal. some dealers don't budge, some will eventually just sell a bike at cost to get you to leave them the hell alone, those are the kind you wanna find. it helps to make friends with the employees. some sales guys will pull more strings than others.

kawi kid, don't be lazy about this, go down to the station, take the ticket with you. tell the person working the desk you want to file a "written complaint about the officer" because of his conduct today, put everything that happened on the complaint, the way he acted, that you had a clean record, etc. Cops with complaints on file don't get promotions, and it looks bad on their review. He'll think twice before disrespecting a polite citizen next time. There are good cops and bad cops, unfortunely the station is not going to know who the bad cops are unless people file complaints on them. the station WILL probably try to pressure you into not filling a complaint, we'll demand it, its your right. I hate prick cops. I've put in a complaint on a prick cop before, it makes you feel better too

I got another one, I was riding home from work (dark about midnight), I take my left hand off the bar cause I had an itch, then a fraction of second later, I nailed something HUGE, like a large fox or wolf or something! My front end came about 2 feet off the ground (mind you I have one hand on the bars!) then comes back down,.. whatever I hit was running FAST, I felt my steering stabilizer absorb the massive blow, which would have thrown my bars completely cocked, or given me a wicked tank slap! luckily the steering stabilizer saved my ass!

Who's had em on the bike?, tell us what happened...... yesterday 3 people in a row ran red lights at high speed when I was in the turn lane and had the right of way, If I had not had a keen eye, they would have pulverized me! Last week I almost hit a deer that jumped across the road (night ride home from work)! and not too long ago some crazy old man merge right into my lane with NO TURN SIGNALS and DIDNT EVEN LOOK OVER to see I was obviously already in the lane!!!! He almost killed me as well!

Wow, did anyone catch that Garrison Keillor hates motorcycles!, that's pretty much what this whole column was about, forget reporting the news, lets report what bothers Garrison Keillor! I read this and my jaw dropped! "After hearing a few thousand bikes go by, you think maybe we could airlift these gentlemen to Baghdad to show their support of the troops in a more tangible way" Wow, what hatred and intolerance! Jesus FasDuc! I just read your post, that is terrible! now his son or daughter is going to grow up without a daddy!! So many things could have prevent this, If he only would have worn his helmet instead of a ball cap, or at least not tried to grap the cap and just paid attention to the road, and 3rd had not speeded through roads with traffic! so terrible! Another girl biker died this week from the gixxie group I believe, she had 2 kids as well! terrible!!!!

also make it VERY CLEAR to them, if they wreck it, THEY BOUGHT IT, I just sold a bike to some guy, and I told him on the phone, "Hey, you can ride it if I have the money in my hands, but if you wreck it, You bought it. That means I'll not be giving any money back, and we'll be going to sign over the title for your newly wrecked bike!" Got to be stern up front, but polite. On a funny note the guy ending up buying the bike without even riding it!, LOL, he had me ride it around for him to show him the bike, LOL. I think he was worried he might wreck it and I would beat his face in or something, but in reality I would have just kept his money, LOL.
