I bought a 2006 grand cherokee a little over a week ago. 29,xxx miles on it, hemi limited. I let it sit in the driveway for a day, then today I go out to start it, and the dash just clicks (not the solenoid). Keyless entry works, dash lights all work, so the battery isn't dead. But it doesn't even try to turn the starter. Anything I can look for before calling the dealership to see if its still under warranty?

I'm kinda going through the same thing right now with my Silverado. My dad just gave me his Ram that I've wanted since he first got it ten years ago when I was 16, but now I have two trucks along with my new Jeep daily driver. I wouldn't mind trading the Chevy off for an ATV, but I like it enough I don't really want to get rid of it, but the Dodge needs attention first. So, if I can't find a trade I like, I think I'm going to toss it into my uncle's polebarn for a couple years, until I've got the resources to devote to it.

Seems like the only moderation that goes on anymore is V8Beast making a troll thread then feeling troll's remorse and deleting it, or Ben getting into a fight with someone then giving up on it and deleting it, otherwise everyone gets to do just about whatever they want because whenever we try to moderate, someone makes a thread in the kitchen BAWWWWing about how unfair the mods are. Which means either our hands are tied and we can't do any moderating, or we have to become nazi mods so people eventually realize thats just how it is and get used to it. Trying to be somewhere in the middle is what we try, and we get shit on from all directions for it.

You never know. I wouldn't chalk it up to vandalism and forget about it, there's always the chance that something mechanical caused it. Studs are cheap, and can prevent this from happening again. Worth it.

Replace everything there that might even have a chance of being damaged, all the studs, lugnuts (on every wheel too if you want to be extra safe) and if the holes on the wheel really are worn, replace that wheel too. You got lucky, don't leave this to chance again.
