  2. Are you looking for an original M1? Springfield makes new ones now, look very nice.
  3. Do ipods have wifi yet? My zune does, along with FM...
  4. When I decided to cut pop out, I didn't have much trouble. Years ago, I was a hardcore mountain dew drinker, but that led to ulcers at 21-22 years old. I made my way to Dr. pepper, and drank that with most meals. Once I decided to stop, I just....did. I can't imagine trying that with smoking though. Whenever you are out to eat, there's always water, but tea also won't hurt you too bad in the whole weightloss thing. That's the direction I go in now, and use artificial sweetener. Even with dr. pepper, I still had stomach issues, where sometimes it felt like there was a hole burning its way through my stomach. Ever since quitting, I haven't had that pain once, it's been amazing. I'll never go back.
  5. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/hddoffer/default.htm For those with the Arcade model, MS is offering a 20 gig HD plus three months of Live for $30. If you already have a Live account, it's $20 for just the HD. This offer is ONLY good on the Arcade model, the idea is so that you can get the Dashboard upgrade. Upon ordering, they require your serial number, so if you have any of the other models you can't get this deal.
  6. I have an HP laptop, and I LOVE it. Seriously. I bought it earlier this year with my tax return. ZERO problems. Vista Ultimate (64 bit) 2 gigs of ram, wish I had 4 but it's never bothered me enough to upgrade. AMD Turion x2 (dual core) TL-64 2.2 GHz whatever graphics card, no idea Plays Doom 3 great, which is good enough for me. Seriously, you can't go wrong with an HP laptop. And I agree with Jason, stay away from Dell. I've yet to see one that I could tolerate, they are stupid heavy and have dumb, annoying problems.
  7. Anyone have any safe tips for cutting? That don't involve a gym membership or going down to no calorie intake? And I'm not cutting carbs, I've been doing some low impact weight lifting and don't want to trash that. But, I would like to knock off another solid 10 pounds before I go to Florida in late January.
  8. That's where I'm stuck. The easy weight is gone, now it's time for the hard part. When it warms up, I'm going to start hitting the bike trail behind my house, start out with a fast walk then move up to jogging. Short of swimming, I'm not sure that there is much else I can do. Low impact weight lifting certainly isn't enough, and I'm way too much of a picky eater to do it strictly through diet.
  9. The new puppy still wrecking the house?
  10. I started a few months ago I started at 315, down to ~275, target is 240

  12. They could easily come up with a way to tax it. I'm sure it would work out to be exactly the same as ciggarettes, in that there are production farms to grow it, then it gets sent to a factory to be processed. Hell, it may even come with filters, who knows. At this point, it will be easy to come by, just like ciggs, so with a real supply that's easy to get, the price will drop. Severely. The manufacturing cost per pack will be pennies, so after a huge tax on it, just like ciggs, a pack of 20 will be $4 - $8. This will kill any incentive anyone might have to grow their own, because it's no longer cost effective and too much work when you can go to the gas station and just get it. This means that drug dealer's largest seller is now completely wiped out, putting many of them out of business. Kinda like booze, right?
  13. .410 sucks and is retarded expensive
  14. sweet, pure speculation this will go nowhere in the next four years. IF Obama gets reelected, then maybe.
  15. and here's some more info http://www.surplusrifle.com/ak47/index.asp
  16. As for laws, read this: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55992 some of that applies to what you are asking, but short answer is no registration and it's an AK, drag it through some mud and it'll shoot fine... seriously though, get yourself a nice cleaning kit, either use a boresnake or cleaning rod and patches for the barrel with some Hoppe's or some other copper remover/cleaner shit. Pop off the dustplate or whatever its called on the top of the gun, hit the moving parts with A SMALL DROP of oil or CLP, and remove the gas tube and clean the carbon off the end of it. Honestly though, it's an AK. You shouldn't have to clean it all that often. I'm not sure how the WASR's are, but shoot it a bit and see how the trigger feels, that might be a trigger slap model. If you have any trouble with it you might have to install an aftermarket trigger, but that's only if its a problem
  17. I'll be at work Christmas day, and I'll be getting paid so I don't care. Just means it'll be one more day before I spend time with the family out of town, big freaking deal

  19. Next time someone price quotes, they are going to regret it. Let the man sell his gun.
