  1. TI 83 seems to be the way to go, either hit up rat shack or ebay
  2. How are your bushings? End links? Balljoints? Are you sure the axle is mounted straight? I would check for build errors and mechanical problems before trying to throw upgrades at it. Also, it helps to clarify exactly what kind of car you are needed info for rather than listing something else. And on that note, I'm kicking this to the tech help forum.
  3. Mustangs are good for straight lines, and thats about it Besides, everyone on here will tell you that road racing is gay

Derek, you will be getting a phone call shortly in regards to what we discussed earlier.
  5. http://www.truckinohio.net/filedump/mike/samurai/ The last two pictures are of it after doing the lift, the rest are just random pictures of the tires on it and of the buildup. I forgot to mention, the lift is a custom spring-over, between the lift and tires the frame sits about 9 inches higher than stock.
  6. I've got an '88 Samurai that's lifted and trail ready sitting on 31x11.50 Swamper LTB's, it does fine as it is the only thing I would worry about now are lower gears. I'm not actively trying to get rid of it, but due to my limited time to actually use it I would consider getting rid of it. I don't think I could go less than $2,000 for it though, as I have a lot of time and work put into it.
  7. Is there anything like that out there for bbc's?
  8. One of those package deals is probably a good way to go, everything is matched up to work well with all of the other parts. If you do some research online, you can find out what were some good factory heads and what they came in/on if you want to save some cash, instead of blowing a ton of money on aftermarket. With a non-od tranny like a turbo 400 you really will be unhappy with low rear end gears if you have any plans of driving on the street, I would go with a 3.72 or something near there, probably nothing past a 4.00 You won't need to run race gas unless you are running a retarded compression, or any kind of forced induction/nitrous. Keep in mind that stroker motors mean you won't be able to turn as many rpm's, so that limits top end even more. It would still be a ton of fun so long as you don't plan on taking it far down the highway. If you keep it at a somewhat low compression then nitrous may be the way to go for blasts down the track, but keeping it more streetable.
  9. Better yet, go ask your wife if you have a birthday coming up

Brita water filter? Adam, are you going to be around next weekend?
  18. A rear locker means you will be doing doughnuts constantly in ice/snow. It will not drive straight, it will always want to kick out on you. You have already mentioned the other big downside - when taking a turn, you either have to let off the throttle completely and hope that it disconnects (no guarentees) or stay in the gas and rip up your tires, not to mention get a lot of unwanted attention from the tire noise. I don't know of anyone that tows with something locked in the rear, but I would almost think it would be downright dangerous to do. Unless you are wanting to drive it along the beach in the sand, you will have no benifits from it, I personally would just deal with a little bit of tire slippage at takeoff than go through the headache and expense of a locker. However, if you are deadset in doing it, look for an electric or air locker, something that you can shut off when you don't need it. I think you will find yourself never engaging it.
  19. Judy, that's Jeff's wife for sure. It's probably registration for his 10r bike.
