I cant recommend TK anymore. The food and service has dropped to for me an unacceptable level. I'm sure it's due to Robin not managing the place anymore. I was a regular from opening up to a few months back. My opinion of course. Though this won't discourage the creepers that fill the place nightly. Enjoy yourself and I hope they get their shit together.

Yup. I have a 2005. Made in December of 08 so I'm good for a minute. I've had it about a year and still pleased. Like I said earlier. I want that Star Carbon RSD anyway so we'll see.

You'll love it. The Stars come with two sets of cheek pads as well. IIRC one is firmer for track use.

Mine pops up in the left but only when I'm carrying it by the chinbar. It doesn't pop up by itself or anything. No problem with the shield. No other problems at all actually. It's the best fitting helmet I've ever tried on hence why I bought it. As you said it does move slot of air over your face and head. Gotta love that.
