Myself, Blake, and Benyen took a cruise down South of Columbus to make the best of the 70º weather. Perfect day for a ride, not too much shit on the roads, traffic was fairly light. Ended with grub in Baltimore. Next time I want to stop for a beer and a fight at that bar Blake pointed out in Hocking.... We did a bit over 150mi thru Clear Creek Metro, then out through Hocking Hills, and then back through them again. At an average of around 65-70 mph and passing every cage that got in our way. Top speed today was in excess of 120mph. (Including my riding too and from I managed about 280mi today, personally) Here are pics from a pimp ass drinking overhang back in Clear Creek Metro Park. Note: We did not separate Benyen from us because he was on a sport bike, he segregated himself.... Guess he didn't want our ugly cruisers mucking up his pretty sport bike shots... LOL

All true, my poor ass and lower back!! Cruisers can be more comfortable, or not... depends on your bars, seat, and how fast you ride and I would assume your own personal posture and body make up too.... After a few hundred miles I have to stand up on the pegs a bit and adjust my junk, my poor balls get all smashed when my jeans ride up. Oh, and cruiser without windshield, plus full face helmet can mean neck strain too at speed.... Lots of people on here with many more miles than me, but generally speaking endurance in anything is gained only one way... Do it till it hurts, then go a bit farther. Repeat until nothing hurts or you die. Take Ibuprofen if necessary.

I thought the extra bit on the side of the freeway was the "Bike passing lane".... LOL +1 for making it legal, about the only intelligent decision made by the CA government in memory... (well, legalizing pot is nice and all, but it is still a federal crime, so not really...) For me, speed. I can usually keep it down when I know there are cops about, but I find it thoroughly impossible to do 25mph on a bike....

I got the axe several weeks back myself. One of the owners comes in, gives us the heave-ho and then we get to walk past the rest of the company as the other owner tells them they are about to work harder for less money. At least I have the satisfaction of knowing they are the cause of their own downfall and that I will probably end up with a better paying job with less responsibility as a result of my experience there... Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke anyway, right? As it is, I am on vacation while I search. Now THAT's crazy... not the first time I heard it, but fucking crazy. I got that a lot at work, but the best was a cashier this winter... She looks at my helmet and remarks how it is a "really good one" (it's not) and that means I must "be a real motorcycle rider" or something to that effect...
