I just checked out the Polaris location, since it's just around the corner from me. I'm interested enough to learn more after they open up. It doesn't look like it will be long; the heavy bags, ring and fitness equipment seem to be all in there. For me it always comes down to how much I'm willing to pay and how they want to be paid. I'm not a big fan of the automatic account withdrawal for membership. I prefer to pay as you go or on a month by month basis until I see if I like the place and it fits my schedule.

I did the same when I purchased both my full face EXO700 and my half helmet EXO100. Every once in a while Iron Pony's price will be about the same as some online retailers, but that's rare. In reference to the full face/half helmet/no helmet opinions; your ride, your life, your decision. I used to not wear a helmet and now it's rare that I ride without either the half or full face. For me it's a matter of what bike I'm riding or weather conditions. The more I've worn the full face the more I got used to it. Admittedly it's not uncomfortable, as I originally thought it would be.

I got very good price on the last Scorpion helmet I bought from STG.
