  1. The numbers are much bigger than that! Lets do some quick and inaccurate math.... Lets assume each team has 15 players, and there are 12 teams in the leauge. Granted these are just examples... - 15 players = $750 per team - 12 teams = $9,000 - 12 teams X three seasons of play (spring, summer, fall) = $27,000 And whats they're operating cost? Paying the umpires, a website, park reservations? Pretty sure the tshirt costs are covered by the sponsors, yeah they have sponsers too! Remember, those figures are guesses, Melissa's team has over 20 players and I'm not sure how many teams are in the league. Big $$$
  2. Start one. The guys from GoKickBall are making a killing. $50 membership fee per player per season.
  3. If it would have been a different night and time she would have probably played but she doesn't get home from work til around 6 and I think we have some plans this evening. She plays on the "GoKickBall" league, her games are Saturday afternoons.
  4. You serious? Thats kinda against the law.
  5. I bring my lunch most of the time but not all of the time.
  6. Gotcha. Thats just another reason for me to stay at the less expensive end of the spectrum, cause my pc is getting up there in age too! I'm running 1280x1024 on the 17" now.
  7. Someone told me that the engine in the FZ6R was that of a 2005 R6. If that helps any.
  8. Yeah and its funny how shit doesn't break until AFTER 5pm, right about the time you hang your keys up by the door as you get home.

Damnit I screwed up a Seinfeld reference. I fail.
  10. Commercial Fire Alarm Service Tech.
  11. If I don't answer the page, they call my cell, if I don't answer my cell they call my house, if I don't answer at home the next call they make is to my boss, then I'm screwed . I just stay home when it's "my week", it's easier.
  12. No its just a plain 17". I'll just go with one of the two I mentioned, no biggie, seriously, I don't watch movies on the pc or play video games so I don't really see the need for a WS, hell if I could get another 17" for under $100 I'd probably buy it but since I can get 19 for $100 thats probably the route I'll go.
  13. I'd absolutely love to ride. Sigh, but I can't, I'm on call this week , and trust me its not worth the trouble to try and ride anyway, sure as shit I'd get geared up and get a mile down the fricken road and the pager would go off.
  14. Its the monitor. We have two pcs and two identical monitors, I swiped my wife's monitor temporarily. It started acting up about a week ago, not wanting to turn on, when you pressed the power button it would blink green instead of staying green. Eventually it would turn on, tonight it wouldn't even though I tried the usual "fix it" tactics but no matter where I hit it it just didn't want to turn on tonight
  15. Sure. When I got mine I sat on both a FZ6 and the FZ6R, they had them both at Honda NW. I liked the R cause it was about an inch lower and has a single headlight instead of the dual, for some reason I hate the dual headlights, on any bike. I like the look of a single light much better. I also liked the handlebars, a real bar, not clips. We can get together sometime.
  16. I wish I had gotten my FZ6R dyno'd couple weeks back but ended up leaving early cause of the fricken sandstorm kickin around the parking lot. I'd like to see what it'd do.
  17. Why spend an extra $69 for something I don't need, I'm sure I'd love it, who wouldn't like to go bigger, but I don't "need" it. Either the 18.5 from Bestbuy or 19 from MC will do me fine and ironically I just deposited a $100 commission check this morning from my ecigs biznez so I guess I know where that moneys going
  18. The Acers just happen to be the low end of the price spectrum, which is where I'm fishing!
  19. Ok so a quick online search turned up prices like this... $120 for a 20" (newegg.com) $99 for a 19" after $20 rebate (microcenter.com) Anything over 20" starts to cost to much, not looking to spend over $200 again at this time. Thinking $99 @ MC ain't bad considering its less than I paid for my original monitor and it's bigger! http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0327567 There's also this 18.5" @ BestBuy for $99 without a rebate... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Acer+-+18.5%22+Widescreen+Flat-Panel+LCD+Monitor/9785647.p?id=1218174063096&skuId=9785647&st=lcd&contract_desc=null
  20. Thanks guys, thats kinda what I thought. Haven't even looked to see what they cost now, back in 2006 this 17" cost $229, guessing they're a lot cheaper now. And yeah I know a 17 is small by todays standards but I don't really need anything much bigger. Gonna go look at some prices. Thanks again.
  21. Ok so my Acer 17" LCD monitor has decided to take a shit. I got it in 2006 from MicroCenter, its already been repaired once under warranty so I'm wondering if its worth trying to get it fixed or should I just get a new one? Anyone ever pay to have a LCD monitor repaired? Whats it run? Where can I take it?
  22. So who's hosting the bukkake party?
