  1. Never mind, I fixed it. For some reason my sound device was not selected in my control panel settings. Not sure how it happened, but its working now.
  2. What the heck would cause my web browsers to not be playing any sound?????? Both IE and Firefox, anything with embeded sounds is not working, youtube, hulu, stuff like that. My sounds settings are all on in the volume control interface. If I open a video file locally on the pc it plays the audio, as do local mp3's. WTF?????
  3. Exactly. Thats at least 4 (with me) that would be interested, I'd like to see even numbers like 5 or 10, that would make buying the tickets each day easier for me, plopping down a five or ten bill to buy the daily tickets as opposed to an oddball number. But hey, the more the merrier, and better the odds! You guys all understand the idea of what I'm suggesting right, if we get 5 people playing, then I buy 5 tickets each day, every day, 10 people, then I buy 10 per day every day.

That made me LOL! Most the guys around here prefer sheep though, so get your barnyard animals straight! And the newbies always get picked on, if you survive it, you'll be absorbed into the collective!

Max, this is a losing argument on your part. The idea behind riding 3 or 4 abreast is for the safety of the bike rider! This forces cars that want to pass to pass safely by going all the way out and around, just as they would have to if it was a tractor or slow car. Riding single file on the side of the road is NOT safe for the cyclist, I can't tell you how many times I've been squeezed OFF the road or hit by mirrors and I don't ride that much! You are the one that apparently needs the lesson on "sharing the road" my friend, cause from you comments I can see that you don't understand the concept. Still love ya though , except for the fact that you don't like me in spandex
  6. I work with 6 other guys in my dept, I presented the same idea to them and they all pussied out, what the hell, most you stand to lose is $28, what you stand to gain is splitting 100K or more, you have to remember this game is drawn every day!
  7. Checking to see if anyone would be interested in going in with me on a lottery pool for the entire month of February. The game I want to play is the RollingCash5, its drawn daily with a daily pot of $100,000 that builds daily if not won. The game has only 5 numbers and therefore better odds, especially since its drawn everyday and not played by as many as play the mega. So heres what I'm looking to do, everyone that participates, puts in $28, thats $1 per day for the month. I'll purchase tickets daily, scan them and post them somewhere for all to see. So if 10 people play, that $280, which means 280 entries or chances to win in the entire month. Any $1 winning tickets could be reinvested into more tickets, any $10 and $300 winnings would be saved and divided among the players at the end of the month. Payout is like this... 2 numbers - $1 3 numbers - $10 4 numbers - $300 5 numbers - the pot (minimum $100,000) Anyone that want to get in on this with me would need to have a paypal account so you could send me your $28 that way. It would be cool if you sent $29 or $30 to cover the paypal fees so I don't have come up with the difference out of pocket, but thats up to you. Anyone that wants to do this, pm me and I'll supply my paypal email address.

Bike paths are for people that like to do "casual" riding. There are to many joggers, walkers, dogs, slow bikes, etc etc for a seasoned rider to take advantage of them. Bike paths also have a "suggested" speed limit of 15mph, which is slow once you get in shape and start riding regularly. As much as some hate to acknowledge it, bicycles have the same right to the road as cars and mc's, you just need to treat them as a slow car, pass them safely when you get the chance. Whats wrong with spandex??? (ADA Tour de Cure 2008)
  9. Me too. Caught the first two episodes last week. Awesome.

Before we got the motorcycles my wife and I rode mountain bikes a bit, we rode in the ADA Tour de Cure a couple years (30mile course). We haven't rode to much since we got the mc's , to much seat time on the mc's! But I think we might ride the tour de cure again this year.
  11. Yup, they are cool as hell.
  12. On the contrary, at least IMHO, I've gone thru several linksys routers. I'm using a W311R from Trenda right now, $30 at microcenter.

  14. Even though he most likely meant copper wire, I guess you could call copper pipe "conduit".
  15. How many times can one story be reposted, although, wait a minute, I'm guilty of reposting it at least once myself!
  16. If I don't get my ass to the gym soon I may need those! I've got a pair of 36 leathers now but they're gettin tight

  18. The code you listed says nothing about being on private property in view of the public, it only says being in or on a vehicle on a road for public use. You're saying WH says you can 't have an open container in view of the public even on private prop, thats not the same as what you quoted from Columbus.
  19. Time to fucking move when you can't drink a beer on your porch or in your own driveway. Sorry, thats ridiculous. Just one more reason NOT to live in Whitehall.
  20. If you've ever wiped your ass with state or government issued toilet paper, thats pretty much what it feels like!
  21. I've never switched it at anyones but my parents house, mainly cause it drives my dad nuts, cause he's an "under" and I'm a "over". So anyway, its looking like the majority is "over"! Interesting.
