Melissa and I along with Brandon and Adrian rode out to Scioto Downs tonight after leaving Bike Night at Hooters in Hilliard. Gotta say, the place is really cool. We watched a horse race then played about $50 on the VLT's (video lottery terminals) which are basically slot machines. The place is basically a casino with slots only; and a horse track. They had a live band playing and the place was pretty packed. We will definitely be going back some more.

Yep thats the scene as I saw it too, you must have been behind me. The cop passed me in the left berm and the ambulance came up the right side. Ambulance was gone when I got up to the scene.

Got stuck in a parking lot on 270 Eastbound tonight around 7Pm on the way to QSL for bike night. When I got up to the cause of the backup there was a white sportbike on it's side on the side of the road near the center divider and a green sportbike parked next to it. No riders present, one car pulled off farther up and one cop still on the scene. An ambulance was there and left before I got up to it, assuming the rider(s) were taken away in the ambulance. I'm horrible at identifying bikes, so I have no idea what they were.

As we talked about yesterday, I'll be up at QSL tonight for the bike giveaway. Probably can't make a pre meet at the old CC but will be there mingling with the pirates at some point.

Sounds like you and I have pretty similar jobs to some degree. Almost everything you just said applies to my job as well including gps tracking, defensive driving classes and all that stuff. I am a fire alarm service technician, I drive all around Central Ohio on a daily basis.

Not necessarily true in all instances. Just saw a story on the morning news I think yesterday about the police and the new texting law. They are exempt! Doesn't seem right, but they get a free pass to use any of their electronics in their car while driving, including their cell phones. EDIT: posted this before seeing the pic posted above, that is exactly what I am talking about, they showed the picture during the news report I am referring too.
