I just bought a pair of FieldSheer leather pants with the built in knee protection and padding in the hips. I've looked at jeans before and may still get a pair for casual riding but my thought on them was if you're gonna spend over a hundred dollars on jeans, might as well go another hundred for something that is more durable. I mean does anyone really know if the riding jeans provide any more real protection then regular jeans?? These are the pants I just got...

Yeah mostly water weight you're losing. Probaly sweating more than your taking in plus you generally don't eat much when you are sick.

Okay, so we went to the Pony today so I could try on a a pair of the pants to see what size I would need, had every intention of buying them next weekend. Turns out they don't have them in stock and they told me they don't really get that paticular brand/model in. So I got a pair of FieldSheer pants almost identical except all black. They were on sale, and my jacket is a FieldSheer so they will zip into my jacket. They had one pair on the rack in my size, so I got em. This is them... So I'm thinking about spending some overtime money on some leather riding pants. Found some AlpineStar Apex pants that would really look nice with my bike, helmet and current tech jacket. I've been considering getting one, and a head light modulator for my bike. Maybe a project this summer, who knows. They probably have 'em at Iron Pony.

Over the past 20minutes or so it just moved thru Hilliard area. Rained like hell, thunder, lightening and lots of wind. Still kinda windy but the rain has stopped.

I think thats pretty slick. Hey can you imagine dropping one of those damn bikes, that would suck.

Your home tv is not gonna do the blood-n-gore of this flick justice. See it at the theatre, trust me. It was extremely graphic, actually had me scared at times.

I'm pretty sure cable beats dsl almost always; unless you live next door to the phone switch . I have Time Warner/Roadrunner.
