  3. Yeah thats the one I sat on. I'm gonna take the wife up there this evening before they close and show it to her. Unless they can do something magical on the refinance end of things I'll probably just end up keeping my scoot a couple more years and buy a '09 FZ6R a few years after its been out. The cost of this bike is about equal to the payoff on my SilverWing. I just got my Honda statement today, my payoff amount is $6,581.50
  4. So what are the differences between the 08 and 09? Any? The way the saleman made it out was like this was a "new" bike. So I'd assume its different from previous models. Nevermind, I just looked 'em both up, did a side-by-side comparision, they are almost identical... http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products/modelspeccompare/619/1753/0/compare.aspx
  5. Simply sitting on this bike and holding the grips I was only leaned over a little bit from straight up and down, that was nice. I sat on the CBR next to it and its a world of difference, its like laying down after sitting on that R6. Just thinking right now. Not sure I want to refinance, or what the wifey will say when I mention it to her BTW. I'm short, 5'6" and this fit me great, so anyone else vertically challenged looking for a bike this might be the right one.
  6. I stopped into Honda NW this afternoon to say hi to Austin and Michael, never expected to end up sitting on a sportbike that fit me perfectly and now I want it! I've sat on lots of different sportbikes and none of them fit me or the riding position was to uncomfortable for me. Not so with the Yamaha FZ6R. I likes. Might have to see what I can for the Swing on a trade-in!! Hmmmm http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products/modelhome/619/0/home.aspx
  7. Yeah I think nowadays the best thing about 666 is stopping to take a picture with your bike under the route sign! (something I need to do this year, along with 555)
  8. The stickers are free, just gotta send a SASE, see the newsletter for details... http://www.ohio-riders.net/newsletter/index.html
  9. Yeah, love that tunnel (sarcasm). I almost got creamed going thru it once in my work van. You're supposed to honk before entering it so hopefully someone on the other side hears you and waits for you to come thru.
  10. I don't think I saw anyone ask this but, where is the OTHER rider?? Can't this rider answer some questions as to what happened? Did this other rider flee the scene
  11. Oh man this sucks. RIP
  12. All the new roundabouts would have been fun if they didn't put so much damn white markings on the ground, that shit'll drop you!
  13. If they were racing, or the bike was moving at a very high rate of speed on a busy city street then the bike most likely was NOT there or even in view when the cager looked and then turned. That phrase "came out of nowhere" sometimes holds true when something is moving that fast.
  14. Thats what you call committment on the dogs part Why won't you die Sorry. I hate hitting animals actually.

    Ride 3/17

It was a little cold this morning heading out to Canal Winchester, got a lot nicer later. Beautiful day for a ride. Me, VrodDave and Skulls did just over a 100 miles, had a good time, oh and BTW, they don't have all-u-can eat pancakes anymore at IHOP we ate lunch there. We were the perfect picture of "Diversity" here at OR. A Harley, a sportbike and a scooter! See we all "can" get along I shoulda got a picture of the bikes together, we did get a few strange looks from other riders

    Ride 3/17

This is the COLUMBUS thread for a ride on 3/17, based on where you are you probably want to try and hookup with the CLEVELAND guys, they have a thread for a ride today also, its here... http://www.ohio-riders.net/showthread.php?t=22845
  21. Shoot me a PM or email. I live in Hilliard area, maybe we can ride sometime. I've only lived here for 9years, if you've lived here all your life I'd think you know more of the immediate roads then I do but maybe not. Plus it really depends on how far you're looking to ride, immediate vicinity or hour or more out. Big difference.
  22. It's called "turn the fuckin wheel" lady! Geezz. The sad thing is, that was for real.
