Tonight was the first time I was ever able to check my speedo against a gps using this setup. The speedo wasn't off to bad (assuming the gps app/phone is correct). In the 0-60mph range the bike speed was 3mph fast. In the 60-90mph range it was 5mph fast. Over 90 it seemed to be fast by about 7mph.

Not sure why I didn't think of this sooner. Strapped my old inactive verizon wireless samsung fascinate to the bike and it works great as a gps speedometer with a free gps speedo app! The app doesn't require active data to work, only a gps signal

Way to many accidents this season already

Rode abit myself yesterday, was really my first day out this season, didn't stay out too long cause I shouldn't have taken my jacket liner out, was a little cold! Still had fun, rode a little bit of 56 and 180.

People DO stop for funeral processions, or at least slow way down here around Central Ohio. I never ran into that up in NE Ohio where I'm from originally, first time I came across one down this way I damn had an accident like that truck! Must be a regional thing

If I'm open carrying a weapon, and they want to make sure I'm not a felon, I don't care. If YOU want to debate the 2nd amendment with a trigger happy LEO and run the risk of getting your ass thrown to the ground and cuffed feel free to do so. I'll take the simple quick route, since I'm not a felon, and I don't give a damn if they check my id. Arguing with a LEO rarely goes well, no matter who is right. You chose to do it your way. I choose to do it my way. It's as simple as that.

No not ANY time for ANY reason. But if I'm open carrying my weapon and a LEO asks for my ID I will gladly produce it. I have no problem with it.

I could care less how the other driver "feels" about it, all I care about is that they SEE me.

I ride with my high beam on 100% of the time during daylight. My FZ6R has a single light with dual element bulb.

I'll never understand why people think being asked to show ID is "having your rights infringed". These open carry situations that go bad do so because people simply want to play games with the LEO's and refuse to show ID. Just show the guy your damn id, he can make sure you are not a felon and everybody can go about there business How is simply providing ID "giving up your right"??
