Years ago a figiting child in class would get a ruler across the knuckles.

    Behavior problem solved.

    Today they get a script.

    Behavior problem solved.

Kids on drugs, legal ones, are becoming the norm. Are we over proscribing?

New diagnosable "illnesses" are being found every day from eating disorders to attention deficit disorder.

Most are diagnosed in schools with what are arguably the worst teachers in the history of this country.

Their classes are thinly disguised propaganda. More children leave school functionally illiterate than ever before.

They are totally unprepared for life in the real world. They act up in class? Really? I'm shocked I tell you, shocked!

Exactly most of these doctors now are legal drug pushers. I used work juvenile detention and kids would come in on all kinds meds for adhd and whatever else the parents and schools could dream up so they didn't have to deal with a typical hyper child and they were like zombies. The first thing our resident doc would do was get them off all meds that were not essential for them to live and amazingly they didn't flip out or anything of the sort they also didn't want to sleep 22hrs a day. It is easier now a days for the school to say your child has adhd put them on meds than it is for the teachers, parents and staff to have to deal with typical children.

  3. So why couldn't this be done for other medical reasons and other privileges? Like a person losing there sanity (schizophrenia, Alzheimer's, etc.).

A doctor can pull your license for many reasons.... we requested my grandmothers license pulled a few years ago all it took was one form from the doc and she got a letter from BMV

  4. It is if he's a danger to the public that has managed to slip by. Course we will never know till its too late.

Conne if the guy had schizophrenia and was treated for it under control would you be comfortable knowing he's passed a background check and now owns a firearm?

I don't know the guy so wouldn't bother me one bit but if he ever was to draw down on me he had better pull the trigger because I won't hesitate. Really think about it there are probably 10's of thousands of people with "mental/emotional" disorders walking around with guns every day. Just because he isn't strong enough to control it on his own and needs meds does not make him a bad guy or a criminal so he has as much of a right to buy a gun as you or I do.

Some people might not like me walking around with a gun or some people that know you might not like you owning a gun but that's their problem and tough shit.

  5. Yep I hear you we used to have 150+ acres of woods and trails across from us since we moved in 2010 there is no where but city streets it's been ridden a handful of times since 2010 when he took it to my father in laws but not much at all.
