    Are you using a test light or voltmeter to find the hot wire?

    I would try hooking the LED to a battery or a charger if you have one to see if it is working. It may have shorted out in the LED setup.

    My buddy rode his R6 on the street for 3 years with no plate he put a plate on and got pulled over a week later

    I remember finding visible from 50 feet some where before but not having any luck finding it now.
