  1. Kyle,

I know in the riders meeting you said the pics either A)would be online or B)would not, guess really those are the only choices, but if they are online you got a website?

I was #539 and I know I saw some of your pics earlier from others and they are awesome. I have some from Grattan and that is it.

    Thanks.

Overall great turnout, I ran like shit, but whatever, I had a blowout on the enclosed on the way there and it tore the fender clean off, and then just caused a bunch of headache, so my head was a bit out of it.

Thanks to Apch8r for helping me out though, he gave me 2 huge pointers that made a world of difference, actually 3, I forgot about one until now.

Track was awesome, but I will say when that sun is going down, turn 1 is scary, or it was for me. I know on more than one occasion I had to alter my line and pick up my knee as I thought I was going to hit the pit divider curb.

Rusty, good talking to you, I don't think I even saw you on the track.

Also I had no idea they provided a meal with that Max Twilight, but they do, which was awesome. Overall the Mid O shows are top notch for sure.

Unfortunately they are not available online as I do not yet have a website. And the ETA on the website is unknown  ... I do have about 50 photos of your bike from the event. And I must agree, Mid-Ohio is very well done . . can't wait to ride the track one of these days.

  2. Them damn planes, never know when they're up there. Reminds me of the time a Trooper was getting on the highway in front of me and I slowed down as not to pass him. Eventually we stuck his arm out of the window and flagged me over. As he approached me on the bike he could see my confusion and pointed to the sky where the Cessna was flying. He was pretty cool about it considering the rate of speed I was traveling on the open highway v. what the ticket was for.

I have a 2003 CBR 600rr that is in pieces for repair from a low speed high side and I would like to sell it as is. I am asking $1,500 OBO and I will eventually post current photos. The bike had ~16k on it and ran strong. It was stock except for the chain and tires and ran faster times at the drag strip than 3 other 03-05 600rrs that had any combo of exhaust/intake/powercomander.

    The Bad . .

    - There is a small crack on the bottom of the engine case along a bolt hole that holds the stator cover on as well as the stator cover being cracked. Had this not cracked and leaked all of the oil out I would have been able to still ride the bike immediately following the accident. The engine automatically shut off once the bike was on it's side before the oil leaked out so I do believe that if one was savy enough to repair the crack the engine would be fine.

    - Almost all plastics are damaged including windscreen

    - Mirrors are broken

    - Clutch and brake levers are bent as well as brake pedal

    The Good

    - All of the pieces are there

    - Michilen Power One tires with limited miles

    Day after accident photos . . .

  4. I would share the same concern as far as the dorms go, at the same time I suppose it becomes the responsibility of the gun owner to make sure that they are being responsible with there decisions. If there is not a safe place to store the firearm it would make no sense to keep it in the dorm, and I don't foresee the dorms having a place to check your handguns.

I am completely for this. The only thing that concerns me in guns in dorms. Does anyone know if this will allow this? In dorms you never know who you are going to be living with and they could be a total loony, who finds out you have a gun and just waits until you slip up to snatch it. Plus, there is a lot of alcohol in dorms.
  5. I've done a few ball joints on those if I remember right..

That is what I was thinking?

It sounds like this car might be passed the fix and sell point. Might be best to cut your losses and sell with out fixing it if there is that much wrong with it.
