I know we beat this thread to death already, but I just had an experience and wanted to get everyone's take on it. Wife said I was fine to do what I did, but she had never seen me this confrontational and was said she was very tense after it happened as was I. So we were walking our dog this evening, it was dark, he is black, but wears a metal pinch collar(not choker), I was in a gray coat, my wife had capri's and a purple hoody on. Anyways, we walked by a neighbors house on our common path and a guy opened his front door and from what I could tell looked right at us, then let his dog out. Being that there were/are street lights in our division I figured he had to see us and the dog would simply stop as he must have had an electronic collar. I make sure to walk my dog on the street side of the sidewalk, road, dog, me, wife, yards at all times. Well, the dog comes charging at us, mind you my dog is a Sheppard/chow mix and very protective, more of my wife than of me, but I had control of him and told him to sit on the street side of the sidewalk, which he did. Well the dog never quit charging, kept coming through the sidewalk and up to my dog. To my surprise my dog listened to me, and didn't lunge of flip out as I expected. The other dog didn't growl but got right in my dogs face, smelling his rear, everything. I went nuts on the dude, not one curse word, but I yelled at him and said I know you had to see us, why would you let the dog out?, and said this is the second time this has happened today. Back story, earlier we saw a lady walking her dogs have the same style dog(wienerwimers(sp), come charging into the St. from a different house, and the lady's dogs almost drug her, she was literally leaning backwards to keep them from lunging at the dog coming at hers. So granted that wasn't my dog, it was technically the second time it happened in less than 6 hours. So this guy apologized, and said he was sorry but that he did all he could do. Well that wasn't enough for me at this time, I gave him the attitude about there was no way he didn't see us, and even if we didn't have a dog, why would you let your dog out when people are clearly walking by. He said he did what he could do, we left, and he said have a good night to which my wife said thank you, you do the same. I however was not apologetic, and did not apologize in anyway. If I see him I do plan to make it clear why I was on edge as I had already seen one dog walker who was in the street almost get dragged due to someone doing the same thing, but also want him to understand that what he did, even if we were just walking without my dog is not okay. What if it had been a child in a stroller, or a toddler? I would guess that would have ended much worse with a 75lb dog running full bore. For the record I have spoken to the guy before, he knows who I am, my dog is, and where I live. I know he knows, and I know he knows who he is and who his dog is, so it's not like we were some random thugs or something like that. So what does the all mighty OR say? The guy also walks around sometimes(rarely), and carries a stick as he said to keep other dogs from coming up to him, yet he does the same thing..... Oh and my wife and I run in the division when it's nice out, so now guess we need some dog spray, a smaller gun to carry, or a tazer to keep doing that, which is awesome. EDIT: I forgot to mention, my dog is not allowed in the front yard unless he is chained to the tree which he cannot reach the sidewalk or within about 10 feet maybe more. Even that is rare as the back yard is fenced in, but my point is, we don't give him the chance to make a mistake.

Oh not saying that(I worked logistics for 3 years, lots of experience with these things too), just saying if just making a "Cabin" vs. a bunker. Most people building a normal cabin don't need something like this.

I have a lengthy story that my aunt told me about my grandpa as he was getting ready to pass on, but I'll just give the gist of it and spare everyone the whole thing. Basically she walked in to take him home to pass away from the hospital, and he was pretty much passed out. She left to get a nurse to get him ready, came back, he was up sitting at the end of the bed, shoes tied, staring in the distance(wall), and was talking to his sister, brother, and wife, who all were dead. He was telling them that he was coming to see them and getting ready for the trip, and just shooting the breeze. I guess my aunt and nurse both saw this, and when they tried to talk to him, he didn't even know they were there. Finally he stopped, and looked at my aunt and said, let's go home. He went home, had 1 more fall, ended up in the hospice facility and never woke up. My aunt told me this as my cousin(not her daughter) were with Ghost Adventures at the Mansfield prison doing a lock down. She did NOT believe until that day, said it made her a total believer but up until then she never did. Mom said she had an experience the other day in Mansfield on some ghost hunt thing, dad said it was BS and said that it was rigged. I think a lot of it is up to the person if they want to believe or not.

Yeah I've seen bunkers with them, but have no idea why you wouldn't just buy a premade cabin from like Menards vs. something like that.

Yep 100% class by Brandon, straight forward through the whole event, and even made sure he had nothing to do with the name drawing. But in the end, what matters is what we were able to help with, and that's his brothers recovery. Soapbox; my wife is a physical therapist, I have a pretty good idea what people pay for rehabilitation in order to meet what is needed to be able to live at home, and trust me, this isn't cheap. When I say that, think year's salary, think more than that for most of us, that isn't counting the actual surgery or anything. End soap box. What we did was help someone who is a family member of "our" family. Brandon, although is just not getting his post count to whore status, is a huge part of the OR family. He is helpful at trackdays and race days, he is very fun to hangout with, and he does have a ton of knowledge and skill. He probably knows more about Triumphs than most people here, at least how to race them. And what OR did was help to support his true brother in his recovery to a normal life. For that, I give OR Kudos, and hope that we look at all $ spent in that way. The bike was cool and all, but in the end, who cares, it's about helping family.

I jsut realized I didnt post after our wedding the sweet one we got from the local pizza joint. Anyways, I wanted to take pics but we left the next AM and left the pizza to be tossed and box saved, it was a Wedding Cake with bride/groom on top etc. I called when we left the reception and were both starving and they kinda laughed when I asked but then when I went to pick it up they made me come and look at it with the guy who drew it. Pretty sweet drawing actually and we were really excited about it. Finally got one. I think I had one too from a shipment I got, but I forget what, and it wasn't this awesome.

Yep, it was running syn-mix I think, went to high mileage now. Although maybe it is actually syn-mix, I forget what the high mileage's are. Yeah not much leak really, and it wouldn't be leaking at all if it wasnt for the dented oil pan. It's a Honday Max, nothing else would last like this lol.

Good man, 281500 this week, still runs like a freaking top. I changed to full synthetic(forget if that was what you ran), ever 5K, did a fuel filter change for SandG and put in a new air filter before winter. I actually may get my new mechanic to do an oil pan as the pan was dented right at the bolt and started leaking when I went to synthetic which read is common, since the threads and crush washer don't seal as well with synthetic oil or whatever. Pretty minor and I don't mind.Also has 4 new wheels, tires, and hubs(I think I told you that story). Also RVT, that hurts my feelings, not thinking about me. Next time I see you I will give you something to think about, unless your kids there again. Although that guy was pretty cool and a good help in the pits after the race. Nice kid, didn't seem like a DB like his dad jk man
