Turns out I still have a beer can chicken holder and am only doing a breast so I will be using that instead of the B.A. Cannon, but will pick one up after the holidays if this fails me. All my rub and injection stuff is on the counter and ready to go. Our stuff is Saturday so I think I'll wait to rub it until tomorrow evening after injecting first. Can't wait to give this a try, got apple juice and apple chunks both, and plan to soak the chunks twice prior to smoking them. I'm actually stoked to get up for the OSU vs MI game, start a turkey at about 9am, and eat 2ish, or right after the game really.

Love this post, I rock my 40.00 Columbia watch, gives me the time, even the date, and glows in the dark. I don't like jewelry such as bling, and only wear a wedding band and small cross under my shirt I've had since 7th grade. And I only wear the watch to places like work, and church. Wedding band is plane white gold, cross is silver, can't imagine having something on my wrist or finger worth more than my commuter car or race bike.

Issue is their cuts started WAY before the boycotting ever did, it started when Sam died, not in the last few years like the boycotting did. Yes, you are correct in people buy the cheapest stuff they can, but in the end shopping at Walmart doesn't help their employees as this whole thread has proven. It helps Walmart and their corp. that's it. It gives people jobs that they can barely afford to pay their gas with, live pay check to pay check. Am I saying Target, KMart, are better? I don't know, because there's never had to be any studies done on them, so I would guess yes, they are. Also you seem to think that Walmart is employing everyone and saving the workforce by giving them jobs over their mom and pop stores, that's epic BS. Walmart forces US manufactures to close constantly, I.E. TV factory in Circleville, watch that video and read the facts. Walmart came in, undercut them to China saying that if they couldn't make TV's for X they would drop them and go to China. They did, and THEN built a Super Walmart less than 100 yards from the factory. They created something like 20 FT jobs at that store, and maybe another 100 or so PT paying 0 in benefits, while the factory that employed several hundred closed. It's constant like that accross the US, it isn't about mom and pop stores, it's about the manufacture's and them shipping those jobs overseas. It's not an overnight fix, and most likely we will never see it, but Walmart in the end is bad for the economy and workforce. Wasn't always like this, but it is now.

We hate Turkey so Thursday I will eat turkey with the wives family, but Saturday when my parents and I throw our celebration we will do a honey ham, I prefer country style but since I am smoking turkey breast we didnt want country ham and smoked turkey both, just too much. We have the normals other than that, the 1 thing I give 2 sh*ts about is sweet potato casserole. I could have nothing else besides that and be happy, my moms is the bomb and honestly it is the only thing she makes the doesn't totally suck. She knows it and is fine with it, but man she can F up sweet potato casserole. If you want something different do steaks, done that several times, or bison/buffalo, something red and yummy.

Ok, that's it, over the Holidays I am pulling my old Dell laptop out(If I can find it) and getting my thesis paper from college out about how awful Walmart truly is, about facts, statistics, etc. on how they are actually bad for the economy as a whole, mainly the US economy. Granted the paper is 6 yrs old, but a lot of the facts actually have to do with OH specifically, in relation to job cuts, shipping FT jobs overseas and replacing them with PT jobs, just a bunch of crap. In the end this link is extremely accurate and shows why I choose not to shop there. Actually I never shop there now, used to be I'd buy ammo only there because it was so cheap, now I refuse, I can't do it. Think twice if the savings are worth peoples jobs, careers, and lives, most likely they arent.

I always volunteer for deep cavity searches, and always get turned down. I did like flying into Zurich and seeing 2 guys my age with their MP5, finger on the trigger guard. He actualyl walked into the rest room when I did, switched hands to left on the trigger guard, basically never not having the trigger covered. Oh and he had a huge johnson, not that I looked.

I have the same stories from friends dads etc. Heck one family(I dated his daughter), dude worked every holiday, every weekend etc. Built this HUGE house, always had brand new cars/trucks GM of course, boats, guns, etc. Then once they realized the plant was basically losing money from all the people skimming like he was, they shut it down. They are about to lose everything, from what I heard he cashed his 401k out, wife is still working as a teacher, and his parents have been paying their bills for them. He'd tell me stories of being on the line, sleeping, going out to eat, everything, oh he worked 2nd shift too, so made even more. I'm sure he made well over 120K a year.

Actually I need to talk to him too, lots of breakins lately around, and we had ADT when the house was built, but naturally never hooked up etc. Now with the wife home more than I am especialyl when racing/races, need more security than the dog, cats, guns, and her 2nd degree black belt.
