What Blue said and... As for the take offs, I think you can get some often enough to be good. I don't have my numbers here at work from last season, but I know they weren't impressive to racers LOL. I ran 1 race to get my full license, and that was it. I would still race on Pures but I figure by the time I race I will be competitive and it makes sense to run something else. Slicks are run because they offer the most dry grip possible at temps. They are the softest and stickiest you can get. They wear the fastest etc. Not eveyone runs true slicks, some run like the Power Ones, and what SJC said. From what I am getting from this, you have done some track days, and spent some time on the track but not raced and want to. I think maybe some more background on your track time, and experience is what we need. We don't want to push someone or have someone with unrealistic expectation on racing and get out there and get hurt. Again, not trying to insult you, but like I said I ran a lot of track days before going to race school, and racing. Running DOTS is not uncommon out there race day, and esp track days etc. And whoever told you to run the Q2s on warmers, wtf? Maybe a low/medium temp for a few mins before getting out there, but DOTS aren't made to be heat cycled with warmers. You will be fine on them. Not to mention they will only last like 3-4 days anyways if you are running hard, and then you can get into racing more etc. Unless you've already got your license from another org. and wanted to race right away. But I dont think MS is offering race school right off hte bat. Where is freaking Nick on this stuff, he is the guy who needs to be posting. And KTMBrian too, get in here you two, you guys know I'm just posting because I am bored!

Im meetin with KTM Sunday to install his lift kit, I will talk to him then too as I need new rubbers, not for the fiance, just the bike. But for real, time to spend so $$ on some tires shortly. Hoping KTM has a hookup with Dunlop still too
-
Yes they will be. MS has several dealers normally, Pirelli, Dunlop, Mich, they were all there LAST year, not sure if they are all still planning on this season too. Also you can find them on STG. Power Race's. Like 327 a set. I dunno what your status is experience wise but if you haven't done race school, lots of track days etc. then you should save your coin up front and run more track days before dumping a ton of cash into warmers and race tires, etc. Trust me on this. I did over 12 track days or something before doing race school and running a race to lose my provisional status and I am still slow. Edit, I am NOT talking about full race tires/slicks, I am talking about like Power One's sorry for confusion. Go with what Blue said, he knows more than I do lol.

Okay, when I bought a house during the last refi/purchase boom I made sure I kept every single email, letter, signature, etc. I am hoping you did the same? I mean actually I still have them and I bought my house in 06. If this is the case then you are fine, as you have details and facts. However if everything was via phone, text, etc. then he may try to file a law suit sure, but as Flounder stated, just threaten a counter law suit and I think he will walk away. One of the things about being on a public site like Zillow etc. is they have to agree to let people posts comments regardless of what they are. I work for one of the largest lenders in the nation, we get shit like this all the time, non-stop, and we don't do shit about it because there are so many other opportunities out there. This guy is the same way and I am sure just throwing out the law suit out there. A few things I noticed; 1)The guy looks like a DB, always use a hott female Realtor, a family friend that you TRUST and know, or some guy that is young. They seem to be the ones that get things done. Hotties will do anyone to get the job done, family friends don't want to disgrace their family, and young guys are all about $$. This Realtor looks like he stopped at a doughnut store then had BK deliver to his house all while he was threatening law suits at people and looking at gay porn. -
Holla!!! Track time, ordering boots and helmet. Damn my lid is about to be sick!

haha, she'd kill me if I got that, BUT.... you only live once.

Marty, I know I live a ways away, but do you do weddings too? We had someone lined up and they bailed/quit doing pics. Our wedding would be a aways away though in Lancaster, OH but figured I'd throw something out there. -
PM'd ya. I need SupertechR's in black with red accents non vented, I wear a 9.5shoe and wear very thin socks when wearing boots(43 or 42 I'd guess) but could use a little sizing help. Also looking for a Scorpian 1000 or 1100, size large. Sent ya the 2 designs, but would also work with matte black. Thanks!

Cool man, just let me know. -
Ditto to what SJC said.
-
Nicks right, a lot of us run Pures and are fine. You get a sighting lap so that should be good to warm up on. Plus they don't drop temps too far as the AM/PM "hot laps" or practice sessions aren't that far away. This year will be my first year running warmers but I ran 1 race last season with out. I only had 1-2 times last season that I felt warmers would have been really needed. Both at Grattan.

Nice bro, this is a no brainer save 40 bucks for dope seats. Hockey is great even if we do suck, it's hockey. Checking, fighting, beer, end of story. -
If I paid BEFORE this was announced, I would definitely complain and ask for it back, or a credit for a weekend that you might be able to make. I wouldn't be happy at all. But Moto Series is where its at now!

Just be sure to hit Ed Debevics. One of my favorite places in the US.

Roger that will today, wait this is it, but HAIR brand from Wally World actually; Product in Inches (L x W x H):18.0 x 18.75 x 20.75 http://www.walmart.com/ip/Avanti-RM1700W-1-1.7-cu-ft-Compact-Cube-Refrigerator-White/13230133#Specifications I will also measure tonight when I get home. -
I've had this thing since college, but only used it my Jr. year and 1/2 of my senior year. Then it sat at my parents until I used it in the office for 3/4 a year until I was told we aren't allowed to have them, so now no use as I have 2 full sized fridges at home. Still has the new sticker on the front door. Only issue is the freezer door is missing, still keeps things frozen etc, just want to get all the details out there. Very clean, and runs really strong. I actually run it on 3/4 out of like 8 and it keeps sodas cold, and frozen stuff froze. I live in Groveport and work in Polaris so meeting off 270 or 71 is fine but I am pretty busy, so can't say 100% when. Paypal and cash only. John

Epic, dude is pretty funny for sure.

Thanks KTM, I was hoping someone with personal experience would come in and remind me there is no bubble of life. I need to have the release on the track, it's something I definitely love and definitely need to have in my life. I can't imagine dealing with it first hand, and hope I won't ever have to, but you are 100% correct, this is all part of the game of life.
-
Totally agree, to both of the above. I do it because I'm a freaking adrenniline junkie, anything I can do that could kill me is what I want to do. This is about the only legal option out there. I raced cars, I work on race cars now just to be around a track, I ride because I need to hit that speed that isn't legal on the open roads, I need to improve and push myself, BUT at the end of the day, is it really worth it? I guess Max Power in a few words states it best. I could die driving to work Monday, and then I'd really be pissed at myself, so yes, it is worth it for sure. Above all, RIP Rider and I will pray for you tomorrow in church and let God know that you are coming to be in a better place.
-
Craig, you are still gay. You have a fucking cat in your background. Nice build dude, I gotta start mine, maybe a wedding gift from the fiance then it gives me something to do while she watches stupid TV shows about weddings and shit.
-
RIP rider, I hope you are in a better place. This really makes me look at things in a true life scenario. This was a TRACK day, not a race, not a competition and makes me wonder if what I choose to do is something I truly love to do or not. I'm about to get married and start a beautiful family. Once things prosper and the kids etc come along, I just don't know if it will be something I do or not. Right now I say hell yes, but once I see their faces and my wife's, I dunno. Maybe it's because it's late and I'm tired, but reading this just really made me think about things and my future. I'm no AMA star, let alone someone with a chance to win a MotoSeries race, so is it really worth it? I dunno anymore.
-
No, but you're my bitch, remember?
-
Thanks, just thanks. Now I m even more miserable. Skiing would suck right now, I can't ride my bike, I don't wanna shoot guns indoors. FML.
