After last weekend with Mykill at the gun show, decided against the laser on whatever new carry I get. Quite frankly since it has another button to turn on vs. pressure activated, no chance someone is going to think about it in the heat of the moment and it saves about 120 on the costs. This is a hell of a good deal, but I won't be looking for one with a laser. Ben, you make it to Dales today? We stopped in early and he said you might too, or just hit up Outdoors?

Met up with Parks at Dales today to sell some mags for the AR 22 conver. was hoping he had the Kimber 45 from his site but he sold it. Lucky for my bank account I guess, not for me. Still looking for another carry gun, but not really rushing into anything. Might really look at the Ruger or Keltec that Cheap Than Dirt has on sale. The Ruger is sold out, but held both at the gun show last weekend and loved them. Still gotta pick up a cheap 22LR for plinking but need to wait until I see what I want for sure. Figure the price of ammo dropped a ton with Parks site and Wally World carrying .223 cheaper than any rifle round but 22LR. Going tomorrow to buy another 100 rounds, maybe 200, stocking up.

This, if my dog got to them before I shot them, they would regret it even more. He might only be 89lbs, but Sheppard/Chow mix, he doesn't handle strangers well, okay let me rephrase, he will fucking eat them as fast as he can. He sleeps in his cage when I am home, but all my weapons are next to my bed, so on the way to his cage in the next room and 2 flights of stairs up, he gets let out after I grab 1 to 2 weapons, and by the time I turn around he is out. Happened once that CPD brought home a roomies friend that was lost downtown to my house, woke Basco up as he was sleeping between my bed and the bedroom door, which he does anytime not in cage, and it was a bark I have never heard since. He doesn't bark unless someone is at the door as I trained him to, and this bark was one of the I am going to kill you slowly barks. I had my HG in my hand when I answered the door and seeing CPD was a little sketchy carrying a loaded gun. He was cool and gave the kid to me to put to bed.

Finally someone sees I am manly and tough! I try to tell my fiance that all the time, she just laughs.

Just put in my vacation days etc for the dirt races, wedding, honeymoon, etc. Only leaves about 2 Friday events at Nelson I can make as I have to take 2hrs min. each to make it there in time to ride. Sucks, but pretty much every event will be drive up Friday night and run Sat, race Sun. Still looking forward to it. Craig, let's try to correspond again when you can run Fri, and I will do my best to get out of work early. Or anyone else for that matter.

Yeah dude, you already know I will be hitting you up too, once I start picking up the pace, I don't want you to have to run slow enough that you could ride a scooter around the track to help. Having Craig and Nick help me last year was a huge help, and this year hopefully I'll get competitive, and definitely be asking everyone for help lol.

Ya I was there 10-12 and bought a tact. sling, and some 8mm ammo and .32auto. Really didn't see any great deals "on the tags" but I m sure some talking could get prices down. Overall today Vance's came out with their flier and Bushmaster 5.56 with red dot is the same price I paid for my SW MP15 Sport, and I would have loved to get that Bush but whatever. Ammo prices were average at best too, they did have lots of Wolf etc. for cheap, but I hadn't shot anything that cheap yet and had just picked up some TulAMmo to try and had no issues with it. Not going back today, it was like an oven in there and some smelly people.

FML, I can't win today. Fed. Ammo jumped 30 bucks at Vances, they have a great deal on Bushmaster AR's but I just bought one, and I couldn't find shit for optics at the show yesterday. No worries man, if parks bought it, I think it was for me, if it was someone else, congrats on the sale man.

Agreed, getting tows frequently are what helped me more than anything. I haven't had the chance to ride with KTM personally, but I was there when Andy rode with him and it was a massive improvement. I did have Craig and Nick tow me at Nelson/Mid O, and both times the 1 on 1 was amazing. My laps were bad at Mid O all night BUT Nelson I shaved 4 seconds off in a Friday night session. The funny thing is last year I did a Novice day in the rain early just to get used to my new bike and refresh after taking 1.5 yrs off, and I think that was one of hte best things I could have done. Hit a lot of Int hopefully this year I can bounce to Ad. but I need to be 100% confident I'm good to go.

Ya I ll be there about 10 as well along with several others. I picked up some random .223 TulAmmo today just to see how it cycles through my AR tomorrow afternoon. Talked to my neighbor for an hour tonight on optic options that may be there tomorrow. He is going with me to help me find a decent red/green dot and mount it up before I hit the range tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully the dealers he knows are there tomorrow and I can get a little insider discount from him. I'll be rolling in with Mykill, and about 5 other guys. Most likely wearing a Ford Cammo hat, you won't see the hat, just the Ford emblem.
