  1. This looks more like a possibility as I realized I have a concert for the Beaver Run dates I was planning for in June, or Nelson, whatever it was.
  2. We will chat, I might have a bigger trailer by then too. May need your chucks for spare 2 bikes, but we will def. talk. Give me til Sunday until I really look into things. Still waiting on a few quotes back on stuff. But I like where this is going.
  3. Can your trailer hold 3 bikes......... This is 1 weekend I believe I have 0 planned. And following Easter means I will have spent the whole last weekend with family, aka I need a break. If you are serious, lets talk.
  4. Man I need to check in on this. Big payday is the 29th, and I deserve something crazy.
  5. This is a serious post correct? 1st, why are you overly concerned with dragging knee? Just to say you did it? No one really cares if you do or don't, well I would guess you, but that's about it. 2nd, doing it on the street in leathers, seriously? If you are in Cbus, there are only a few roads that have even a decent setting to do this safely, and even then, I would doubt they are "safe" by normal standards. 3rd, you state you need new tires and brakes as it is... The last thing I would do needing tires is be anywhere concerned with hitting the knee slider, that is just a high side or low side waiting to happen, I've done both, on the track, ain't fun or cheap. I am not trying to be a dick here, but trying to be realistic. I've seen plenty of people drag through hocking, and comparing something like that to the track as far as if you do lose the rear, or start a tank slap with oncoming traffic, just isn't even partially smart. I tried in my hayday too so I am guilty, but once I realized after seeing 4 wrecks in 1 hocking ride, some from people grinding the puck, it just isn't smart. Save up, get your tires and brakes, then hit a few track days. If you hit knee great, if not, again, who cares? I know some fast riders personally, that have never hit the ground either, and still have some great riding abilities. And as stated, it will come naturally, the first time I ground tow I was scared in the Esses at Mid O like wtf, the first time I ground knee I about crapped, but it was just randomly, different sessions, different days. Then I ground both knees and my bike as well from a wipeout and it blew. It doesn't always help improve turning either, but it can in the right enviroment (track) since you aren't setting any lap times on 270 dragging knee.
  6. http://columbus.en.craigslist.org/grd/2314471672.html Of course I will work with the lovely people of O.R. to reduce the price. Let me know if anyone is interested. This mower is in excellent shape and other than just not having room in my shed anymore with spare bike parts etc. I have no reason to get rid of it. But trackbike parts win over having 2 mowers. Thanks! 419-610-5666
  7. This was just in, guessing it's the same story; http://www.10tv.com/live/content/local/stories/2011/04/06/story-westerville-schrock-road-fatal-crash.html?sid=102
  8. Could have been 25mph, could still kill a rider. Prayers for the family and friends. Just another senseless loss, I've ran my fair share of times and got away, but it's never the smart move, especially when the outcome is as stated.
  9. Dude, you know what I mean. It was in the garage when we wrenched on mine. Same thing asshat. I love you Mikey poo.
  10. Free bump and back to the topic. Turned a lot of wrenches on this bike over the years, well kept and great people!
  11. You ever have class with Nick Greeley? He graduated about year ago from over there and was getting his instructors license. Believe he is commercial now too. Not really sure about all of that, but he's got a bike too, and one of my closest friends. I know he was over there flying for the past 3-4 years since he started and I m not sure all his licenses. Dark curly hair, glasses normally or contacts, no homo good looking dude.
  12. No race school yet, that will be a little bit later in the season. Haven't been on a track in 2 years and need to get my wings back, plus new bike. I will however hopefully be fully safety wired, bike is done to WERA specs I believe, or atleast I was told it was. Bought it from a WERA member and he raced it the year before, so must pass whatever tech that was. Changing oil and numbers this weekend, then just going to see what else needs done.
  13. Paying Friday for this guy. Thanks again! Lap timer, suit, etc. all ready, just need an oil change and to rewire the filter, plug, and cap, already got the tools etc to do it and body work on. Oh and put on the numbers and air ducts, shit, I still need help/advice how the hell to do that. 06 GSXR 600 with Factory Bodyworks.. any advice? Might just bring them to the track off and have someone there help me.
  14. So wait, who buys/sells more bikes in a year, you or pops? Bump for a legit dude and family who keeps their stuff CLEAN.
  15. Correct the difference is made with Escrows and PMI, but if you broker the deal like I did you can possibly find someone who will fund the loan through your friend(a broker Im guessing) with LPMI or lender paid, it saved me about 150 a month on my payment since I didn't have 20% to put down. Either way bump.
  16. That is awesome in a totally homo way
  17. Looking good man. I gotta get some pics of mine on here, but Im too lazy to pull it out. Actually maybe this weekend so I can get the numbers on her. I might have took it around the block once, and might accidently take it on a few back roads.. Or I might just ride all over 188, just never know...
  18. Novice, paying when I get back from CO in 2 weeks, late I know, but I want to have coin for hooker sand blow out there. Just dont tell my GF. JK But yea, Novice paying end of March or April 1 at worst. Gonna pay for a Mid O date then too, just not sure what one.
  19. Yeah I just started with the same issue bro, and when I was putting the bodywork on I just practiced. Now its like second nature. That and my garage is tiny so I move it around alot, meaning lots of practice. I always grabbed stands for the crew I was with because we usually run different groups, but as you said for running single, you just need practice.
  20. Thanks Nick, I will register next week or week after CO Ski trip(last week of March).
  21. Steve, PM me your info on that please.
  22. NM act like I didnt post that, so foot pump... Might check into the air pump, I lazy.
