Uh what? 68/85? that means it would be barely tinted. The lower the number the darker the tint, I.E. 5% is considered Limo black. The % is in relation to the amount of light let in. That looks sick for sure though, I'm guessing you mean 15% and 35%, which looks right.

Yeah I helped to do my 250 windows and it was cake, we don't remove glass but do remove all trim and door panels, it was so easy, and we even had to remove the old shitty film. Update on pricing, so far I've heard NOTHING below 190 in Cbus, except The Tint Dude. I'm getting impatient, but did just spend some coin last night so may just wait until I come up. Actually just got a call back from some local shop in Cbus, as I want to explore quotes anyways for SandG, and he stated that March 21st, ALL shops in OH can ONLY put 50% on the fronts, or it's a misdemeanour and possible shop closure. Not kidding. Quotes 140-299 right now.

Yeah I had them do my F150 before it got stolen, and was very happy. They did me super right for that too actually. I used to only have Ziebarts tint my rides, Mansfield, Marion, Cbus, used all of them. My parents both had Mansfield's Ziebart do theirs and they do an amazing job.

K, Ill talk to him this week/end, I needed to discuss my trip up anyways to get mine done if I don't get it done down here, so I will just get at him. can you guys post up what vehicles you are looking into getting done? That way I have some info for him when I talk to him, he orders tint by the roll, but if we all signed up might get a discount even bigger than the norm.

Oh gotcha, yeah dude for sure. He's in the Independence area, and works PT/watches their children, so he does it about anytime he isn't working. If you're interested I can refer you for sure. Top quality for sure.

Yeah my guy will definitely do work for people, he only operates by word of mouth, friends of friends, etc. He did my wifes car, redid my truck, and has done all his vehicles. If your guy needs tint done I can reach out to my guy with your friends contact info. He's on the east side, like some real nice suburb, I always forget the name.

So I'm not a patient person and sounds like I won't be heading to CLE for another month or so and my tint guy lives up there, but I'd like to get my new car done before then. Looking for 20% all the way around, 4 door Volvo S60. He said he could do everything but wasn't sure about the back window, it's pretty large so probably 2 pieces I'd assume. Anyways, anyone localy in Cbus or close have any tint connections? I've seen 150 from The Tint Dude and they come to me, but looking to get it cheaper if possible. Would prefer all windows to be done at 20% with GOOD grade tint, no BS from Autozone or Advanced that will turn purple or peel. I can help clean windows and prep work, but just don't have the experience to do a car I care about, well enough to be worth it. Don't plan on having anyone above the age of 9 sit in the back unless they are midgets. But in the end who cares, its a Saleen Mustang. It's also an 04, I had one just not Saleen, known issues; Headgaskets, Tranny(obviously), and that's about all I know of. Also see about flat spotted tires, if it sat a ton it ll need new rubber and that WONT be cheap.

I can't say I agree with the above, but see where you are coming from. Wax and polish I do in a circular motion but never get swirl marks because if done correctly you shouldn't. I also use my orbital on occasion and that goes in circles and never get marks from it. But I can see when inexperienced people use circles it will happen. Also the sponge thing, glad you pointed that out, this is what you need here; http://www.autogeek.net/gg1010.html I do not use a sponge at all, I use a microfiber stringy thing and it's awesome, cleans way better than sponges and doesn't hold dirt. There is also a 2 bucket method I did for a little but too much work, 1 bucket to rinse with water only and the other with soap only. I didn't like that so I got the grit guard and it's awesome. Another trick is leaf blower and or compressed air to clear water from cracks/crevices. I don't normally need this, but sometimes I get a car that's a bitch to dry.
