  1. This is the problem in this country, no fucking respect. I was taught to show respect to the police, to people in general. What the fuck was the purpose of this dumb ass other than to get his 15 minutes of Internet fame? The tool got what he deserved. I'm pretty sure that if someone did that to me I would beat the shit out of them for invading my personal space.
  2. That shouldn't be any issue. I had my wife's sled sit for 2 years with stabilizer in it. I started it up last month and it ran like a champ for the entire trip I took it on.

    LaZer Helmets

I've been wearing Lazer helmets for 12 + years for snowmobiling. No complaints at all. Very well constructed, great venting and they protect well. I've tested their protective qualities on a few occasions. This is the helmet I wear for sledding. http://shop.lazerhelmets.com/products/helmets/revolution.html

    F1 -2013

Season begins tonight. WOOT!!! FP 1&2 on NBCsports starting at 1a.m. This morning. This is Mark Webbers year!
  10. You all missed the point. This was a creative way for them to test their latest secret sauce for a new burger. It was a marketing ploy gone horribly wrong.
  11. I couldn't agree more on both bolded items. The Service Manager I made my appointment with 2 weeks before I took my bike in knew his shit and was very nice. He was gone by the time my appointment rolled around and it went downhill from there. The last service person I was dealing with was just short of licking windows for a profession. When he called me in December to let me know the second fairing was in I asked him if he verified it was the correct one, because I didn't want to drive an hour for the same problem. He insured me it was. I show up, the box had never been opened, the foam wrap on the panel was still factory sealed. That's when I went ape shit. Then he had the nerve to call me 2 weeks later to ask me to take the fairing off my bike and bring it to them so they could look at it after I had sent them 2 sets of detailed pictures showing the difference in shape and size. Needless to say that interaction did not end well. That was the last communication with them until today. They did right and took care of the issue in the end but they will never see my bike or me again.
  12. Funny you say that. The first they said after telling me they were in, "We'd like to have you ride your bike up so we can put them on for you to make sure they fit". Translated, ride your bike up so we can put these new fairings on and keep your old ones to sell. I politely declined their offer.
  13. Wow, you seem to be getting raped. My coverage levels are set to 5x yours and my rate is $260 cheaper. Bad driving record?
  14. Finally I can say that this has come to a close, 10 months and 1 week after it began. The last 6 months have been spent dealing with incompetence from both Thiel's and Triumph. The issue has been that triumph made minor changes to the fairings on my bike between the '06 and '07 model year to help reduce some heat issues. Triumph sent the incorrect fairings on 2 occasions even after I sent detailed pictures showing the differences. After absolutely losing my mind in the Thiels parts department in December, Thiels and Triumph decided that the best solution was to ship me new left and right side fairings for my bike. I found out today that they are in and waiting for me to pick them up. I have left a significant amount of details out and I'm glad to finally close this chapter.
  15. That's what I've seen, price wise. Hotwire has it for $189. Like you, looking for any hidden gotchas.
  16. I'm planning a trip for the Mrs. and I to Chicago. I usually book directly with the hotel but thought I'd try to save some cash this time. I've never used Hotwire or Priceline. What type or rooms do you get? I figured out the hotel I am looking at in the Conrad. I just want to make sure I don't get a room with 2 double beds or some shit and mess up the weekend. Thanks for the help.
