  1. 4. To protect the people that might assume ownership of the trust and these items should I die, there is nothing regarding a trust that is a no-brainer. Should something happen to me I'd prefer to leave my wife a better option than calling the 800 number for Quicken customer service.

This is the reason I'll most likely get someone to set one up for me at some point in time.

  2. I spoke on the phone with an attorney today. He honestly told me, my Quicken trust is more than fine and he has heard of hundreds of people using them without issue. I plan on using him to create another trust down the road when my life gets more complicated or I decide I'm doing multiple sbr builds. He quoted me for 250. He was very nice and informative as well as an active shooter. He said he wants to help people out interested in a sport he loves and with the prices he charges compared to others he will be my go to reference if someone feels the need to get a "NFA Trust".

I heard of one instance a quicken trust was deemed invalid after it had been initially cleared. All that was asked of from the owner was for a new trust to be written up promptly for the item to be placed in. They didn't throw him in jail or hit him to death with penalties or take him to court to ruin his life, they just asked him to fix the issue. This does not mean all Quicken trusts are invalid.

All in all, I feel safe using Quicken and have a back up plan if my trust is deemed to be invalid down the road. I'll only have one item to transfer so I'll gamble saving 250 on a "NFA Trust" now and eat up the 200 to transfer it over to one if I absolutely have to.

  3. Anyone else have anyone local to Columbus that's around the 200 dollar price range for a NFA Trust? I made some phone calls and emails this weekend to some attorneys and I'm waiting for Monday to come to hear back from them.

I'm trying to get this set up within the next two weeks so I can order a can and get this long wait period started.

I might have to end up going the LLC route.

  4. I finally got my Milt Sparks order after 6 months. I don't think I'll be buying another companies holster ever. The VM-2 is AWESOME! All of them are cowhide with sharkskin.

IWB for the Kahr K9 and an OWB for the CZ 75 BD

  5. Title says it. These are 18 rd 9mm mags for a Sig P226. They are flush fit, still new in packaging.

    Price: 71 for both.

I ordered these for a friend and he didn't want them. I'm just trying to get back what I put into them. I'll show you the invoice from Top Gun Supply so you know I'm not price gouging.

  6. I went the quicken route. Mine is only for nfa/firearms as well and I don't have any other trusts, wills, power of attorney, etc. Whenever I get around to hiring a lawyer and figuring all of that stuff out, I will have him look over the trust to make sure its kosher. It can be amended/ modified at any time with minimal effort so it fits my needs; the legal minimum to make nfa transfers easier.

This is along the lines of what I want to do. Other than some guns and a small amount of cash I'm not leaving anything behind at this point in my life. No debt for anyone to pay off and no valuables that need to be assigned to anyone. Everyone will know who get's what.

I want to add three people to my trust so that they can be in possession of the items I add into the trust, something I've read you can do.

I'm just making sure plenty of people have used quicken to do this successfully, or trying to find an attorney that will do one of these at a fair price, which I consider less than 200.

  7. I'm just looking for references to set up a trust or find out how your experience was with using something like Quicken to set yours up.

It seems you can either go the Quicken route or spend at least 200 dollars to have an attorney do it. Which route/ who do you recommend?

  8. You might as well start now. I got a quality build done in 3 days for a friend and really only over payed 100 dollars up to this point and am just missing a BCG, which BCM seems to be getting in stock every two weeks.

You'll need a punch set, vice, AR Multi Tool and maybe some other various items.

  9. I took this in on a trade for my long board to sell.

Everything is in working order, NOT banned from XBox Live.

    Price for everything: 200

Controller is missing back battery door.

Games included are various NCAA sports games, Halo 3 and Gears of War 2.

Let me know if you need any more pictures.

  10. Is it April fools already?

Your best bet is to sign up for every mailing list possible and hope you are at a keyboard when something comes in stock. Good luck.

I know. I've been trying. I got everything I needed in 3 days for this build and am only missing a BCG. I'm just posting anywhere hoping that by a long shot someone has one.

I missed a LMT at a great price earlier and passed on another due to price. I've found them, just missed them or can't justify spending big money on an inferior quality BCG.

Just seeing if someone may have one laying around.

  11. Sell them now while you can get the maximum amount for them and get your bike. Then when the firearm market cools down, buy them back if you miss them.

This is all based on the idea that you have more firearms sitting around.
