Best I have found for bulk is MidwayUSA and Sportsman's Guide both showing possibly back in stock end of this month, first of March...?

Sportsmansguide got me a few of my 5.56 orders in, they just gave me a notice the other day the rest of the 147gr AE I had back ordered for Feb. shipment is now backed up until July.

  2. I went the other night. Honestly, the place is awesome! If you want to got to a place that serves a great list of beer on tap this is the place. They're bottled collection is great and their brew set up is absolutely awesome.

It's only a few blocks away from me and it will be my go to now. I don't remember the name of the guy in there. I'll be sure to remember next time. Southern Tier Choklate was goooood.

Their tap system was down that day unfortunately but, they said it would be up and running by Friday.

  3. I think a lot of stores are controlling stock.

I had some mags that I ordered that got lost in the mail. As with most sites, the mags were out of stock within an hour of me ordering. I ended up getting all of my order that got lost re-sent to me within a week. Within that time there were no notifications of a change in inventory status. How did they have mags to reimburse me with if they don't have any in their inventory?

I'm not complaining about it as this helped me out that they were in stock. I do feel like it sucks there are others waiting to purchase items that stores seem to have, just don't have listed in stock and are saying there is no stock over the phone.

  4. How do you like the CZ grip in general?

I could've left the stock grips on there and have been more than satisfied with them. I just wanted to get some wood grips on there. It's my favorite pistol I've shot and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I knew when I picked it up I had to have it. The CZ isn't finished yet. It's going to be the host of a suppressor eventually.

  5. I used to do this with coffee.I would drink about 10 cups a day. Now I have 1-2 cups a day. I slowly weened myself off of it and now only drink it within the first two hours of being awake.

I honestly got rid of my coffee maker and started walking to the closest coffee shop that had good coffee. I would only be able to go get my 20oz cup and that was it for the day.

Now I'm using a hand press and burr grinder and I find that two cups of that with some good bean does me just fine for the day.

  6. The one I got was a police trade in that was lightly used and at a price that I just couldn't say no to.

I prefer not to have the stainless steel look and the Black K9 w/ Triji night sights has an MSRP of over 1k. I'm well under that through this process.

Now it makes since...good looking piece!

Thanks. I like it more and more. It's a good route to go on a refinish if it's a gun you really want to keep around or you get a good deal on something you think is ugly.

  7. Did you not like the looks of the Stainless? looks good and I am not being a dick, just trying to figure out why you would not just buy a blued one instead of spending the extra for stainless and having this done.

Looks super nice. You're going to have to keep us updated on how it looks after 1000 rounds or so.

I definitely will. This is going to be my EDC so I'll be able to comment on how it holds up against everyday holster use and range days.

  8. I took my Kahr K9 to Performance Powdercoating Ohio to get it refinished using Cerakote H. I did quite a bit of reading on what product to use to get it refinished in and Cerakote H was supposedly one of the best ways to go.

I got my K9 as a police trade in, one of the nicer ones in the bunch I think. I added Trijicon Night sights and took it to Performance to have it done.

I went with Black and Sig Tactical Grey for a two tone color combo. Barrel, guide rod and frame were all done in Grey. Slide and controls were all done in Black.

I'm honestly extremely impressed with the way this turned out and their prices were a lot cheaper than others I found online before I factored in shipping. It took one week to turn it around so they do things prompt.

If anyone is interested in having this done, tell them Ryan with the Kahr told you to come in and they'll do you up right.

Here is what it looked like before I took it in.

  9. I know if a bad guy really wants something, there is away to get it. I was just looking for something to keep a pistol out of sight and somewhat secure. As for keeping a pistol in the car in the event a place is posted no guns, I was looking for something that would be better then locking a pistol in the glove box or center console.

Depending on what you're driving, best thing I could think of is to position the safe so that you have to pull the back seats down in your car to get into it.

Look for an older combination safe at a flea market or something like that as well. You can find nice small safes for an inexpensive price if you look.

  10. Good vid, but I feel a lot of these safes aren't for heavy storage.

I have a GunVault but I don't use it to keep stuff out of a criminals reach, I use it so someone won't just pick up my firearm and play around with it.
