Yep, it's def a Wing lol, it's called a pietenpol, my grandpa built it in the 70's it was designed in 1929, updated from a ford model A engine to a Chevy corvair! That is a gorgeous bike! And as a side note, Ducati Indy's customer service out weighs any other dealer I have ever been too! They helped me over the phone troubleshoot, ship stuff straight to my house, and treated me like family the second I walked in their door even though I only spent like $5 in collets when I was done. They are always my first call for anything Ducati! I can't say enough good about them!! -VanDy

Around about books (In the Troy Square) is in the process of opening a '70's style record store in their basement, maybe just shy of 1k records but they are growing and have lots of classic VHS tapes for $1 each. -VanDy

I recently acquired a B@D@SS turntable and 15" speaker set on the cheap. My home amplifier I am using only pushes 35w, but it still shakes stuff off of my walls, I need some good party music and a replacement home receiver that pushes 100 RMS 150peak amps across 8ohm speakers. It's not a lot I know, but they are sealed 15" subs.. I would like to stick to early 80's units to match my other stuff, a turntable, tuner, and dual tape deck, all matching Fisher purchased in '84 (the fisher rcvr's are junk, according to a quick google search) but id still like time period similar -VanDy

When I first read that I felt like a real sh!thead.. Then I started thinking about it and realized its odd how stuff works out and I bumped this thread relatively close to the 2yr date, I hope chachi found peace RIP, I shall start a new thread out of respect for him. -VanDy

Last time I looked at new bikes they had some decent 'hybrid' bikes, mainly tire tread was a little smoother in the middle and more aggressive on the sides. It's more fun to take a mountain bike on the road than a road bike in the mountains, a hard tail should do you fine. I ended up with a Raleigh Mojave, hard tail and front suspension is lockable. Great for trips down the bike path with the dog or through the woods, -VanDy
