  1. Yeah I have been looking at the finger activated ones but they cost so much for the size. This is the size I wanted and was under $50. It holds two handuns a knife. a few extra mags, flashlight and still has room to spare.
  2. So was at dicks and they had a stack on closet safe on closeout due to the box being open. Saved about $20 on it it has a pushbutton entry with key back up. Not the biometric finger safe I wanted but for $42 bucks and it holds two guns one on each shelf, with room to spare it will do for now. better then the strong box I was keeping it in with only a key lock(very slow). Now I just have to mount it to the wall into some studs.
  3. How about booger green?LOL
  4. I paid almost $180 shipped(have a friend who knows the owner) for a bag that should have been 200. I would take $125 for it and drop it off if local.
  5. So the 2 inch charter arms .44mag my buddy is selling Is what the OP should buy for his ccw? Sorry I will stick to my 9mm you can shoot what you feel is good for you. I am not a big wheel gun guy.
  6. Yeah they alays have something on closeout give me a model number of what you are looking for and I will check if they have any on sale. They seem to have lots of sp140 and sp180 series on sale. Some times they have the hobby weld or weld pack 100 on sale and once in awhile they have the bigger 220v welders on sale.
  7. Hey wait I have a high dollar bag I wanted to sell ya! I use to have it on my cbr. It is a Tank locker tank bag. It has the lexan material. used one season on my cbr 1000rr I think it will fit hondas with the same bolt pattern.
  8. But why not shoot the superior power of the .45acp? When did capicity come into play I thought it was all about take down power on the first shot. LOL!
  9. Or 5% from the .45? So what do you compete with? 9mm or .45?
  10. Thats a little to big for me to help ya with. I work for lincoln and we sometimes can get great deals on overstock generators. but the biggest one we have on closeout is the ranger 10,000. I have a 4000wat gen/welder I picked up a few years back.
  11. Hey you could bring up here to cleveland and let me do it at work(lincoln electric) I am still looking to pick up one of the smaller mig welders from work since we still have overstock sale prices. All I have right now is a stick welder.
  12. OK? so a 9mm with hp had a 90% rating and a .45acp had a 95% rating. Don't most test like this take into account a margin of error? The 5% is not that big of a difference. So saying that a 9mm is the bottom of the food chain for a personal defense round is kind BS. If it caused 90% one shot stopping power I would say that is acceptable taken the margin of error in most case studies. What round do you use to compete with turboglock? 9mm or .45?
  13. Good choice. I kinda wish I got the .40 and not the 9mm? oh well still a great gun.
  14. Hey I made it out on 2 rides last year biotch!
  15. I guess thats why my 9sc has 14 rounds in it? Since it is such an inferior round I must have to empty the mag since it is such a small little bullet. Maybe all 14 rnds will add up to be enough to stop a bad guy if need be? Maybe that is why my xd is so box shaped it will make a good club when my 14 shots of hp 9mm did not stop the bad guy. Oh well I guess I am just better off with my pocket knife.
  16. You know his wife is pretty good with her shotgun right. I would be scared.
  17. xd9sc is what I carry everyday. shot placement is key as well as training. I try to make it atleast once a week to the range.
  18. Deadmans corner was closed last night on my way home from work due to a truck flipping over and a multi car pile up behind it. wish they would have thrown some salt on the shoreway around midnight. Had to take east 9th thru downtown to get back onto 71. If it is nice sat I am working on my triple to get ready for next week.
  19. I still need to get the triple in order, might not make it? Thought it would be gone by now! LOL
  20. If you still need a part check with http://cycletherapy.com/
  21. I think my xd will shoot as good if not better then a out of the box g-lock. They are by no means inaccurate at all. And mine has fire close to 5000 rnds and is in no way "loose" I think glocks are fine guns just not for me. I had a m&p 9mm and loved it just to big for me to conceal and be comfy with. I have a xd9sc, and a xd 9 service model both have been trouble free and very accurate. The instructor at my ccw clas was even impressed. You can ask drmbtzz he took the class with me and we both had the same gun and out shot every glock there(better shooter not better gun) If the glock fits better and you rent one and like go for it they are great guns. If you rent a xd and love it then get the one you like better(the xd is less money also) Or go by a hi-point LOL!
  22. I have four kids and have been riding for 15 years. I would not allow any of my kids on the back till they are at least 8. I have taken my oldest boy out around the block a few times. He has full gear he wears. I would suggest not riding him on the back of the bike yet. And for those who say to strap your kid to you with some type of belt. BAD idea if you go down with your kid strapped to you It will act as a nice pillow for you to bounce on. But your child might not like the fact that his parent just killed him. If your child is to small to hold on to the bike or you, they are to small to be on your bike period.
  23. Yeah not saying I was having major problems just that is was the only ammo that failed to eject. If the win dynapoint gt hp is the same price for bulk I will be shooting that most of the time. Seemed to get the best groups from that stuff.
  24. I think I made a wise choice with the buckmark.
  25. So I snuck out for a range trip tonight. First outing with the new BM camper. Took four types of ammo to test. Mini mags, Fed bulk copper hp, Winchester target bulk copper hp, and Thunder bolts lead nose. Was shot at 25 feet, 10 round groups, with iron sights, standing at a normal pace (not super slow). Was VERY pleased with the result of the gun. Shot about 350+ rounds. Had three stovepipes on the fed. bulk was the only hiccup. Fired a few mags to season the barrel then wiped it clean with some general use cleaner/oil. Fired 40 rounds of each ammo to get a better average group. The pics are of the best group from each ammo. Then did some rapid fire test to see how feeding and function was. The two best were the win target 40 gr hp, and the cci mini mags hp. the thunder bolts work fine and the fed bulk copper hp gave me the only few stovepipes I had. Was pleased with the gun and the fact it had no real jams. Looks like for the money the win bulk target is the one I will buy in bulk from now on shot real well I think better then the minimags. fed bul copper hp thunder bolt lead nose bulk mini mag hp winchester 40 gr hp bulk target
