Started doing the body work an paint today. Hand sanding sucks, takes forever. Using truck bed coating. 

We have some ball Mills almost that big at work. They turn rocks into dust lol.

They make em that big, but not much of the car would be left after running it. 

Yup mine is going bigger then I first was looking at. Doing a 4" lift an some 33/12.50r15  duratracs. Also getting a more open exhaust for it. Tax returns are great things.

Picked up some factory rims for my project truck today.

I have done both as a kid I drove down with my parents. It sucked, I flew down as a young adult an rented a car. This would be my pick if funds allow for the extra expense.

No I have no falling sky metal in my knife either. Lol I looked at doing a blank an using deer antler for the handle.

I can guarantee mine will not be that epic. Lol think more like fifth grade art project level.

Like I said it's a scrap piece of steel we use as weld plates at work for triple pass tests. I know it will not hold a edge well. It was more just to see if I could do it. An my son an i are going to built a forge out of sand an plaster of Paris in a metal bucket he watches a utube channel an wants to build one. I can fire it in there. He wants to use it to melt alum, an brass to make casting. This is just a test to see if I can get it right. Will keep this updated when we get the forge done this week.

I quit drinking an dropped 10 pounds. If I start exercising I might actually lose even more lol. 

If it turns out OK I will get some stainless steel an make a better version of this one. 

So I got bored the other day an started making a skinning knife out of some 5/64 mild steel I had laying around. Still in blank state right now lots of sanding, shaping, an sharpening left. Anyone else ever make one?

The xdm is the only xd I have yet to buy. I have a xd, xdsc, an a xds. All in 9mm, I want a full size xdm in 9mm to round out the collection.

I have 3  different xd's an zero glocks nuff said lol.

An I guess it all depends on what your idea of weekend "fun" is.

Truck will be used as a toy for me an will just happen to be useful for the kid. Once it gets sorted out 100% I plan to lift it an make it a woods truck weekend warrior. He can deal with taking it to school muddy.

Glad to say almost all the leaks have been taken care of. Can never say all the leaks on a old Ford, every time I fix one another starts up lol. Maybe eventually I will get them all to stop. It's something for me an my oldest son to work on. It will be my woods truck, an double as his first vehicle to drive to school in six months.
