I think I may have met u with tomato, twizted. Up north we round around. Your wife have a cbr? Sjc1000rr Dont feel bad. I'm bad with names and probably couldn't pick u out of a crowd but just putting some facts together I'm pretty sure I've met u. I visited tomato at his first track day at mid Ohio last year and I may have also seen u when we rode out walnut creek pike and out to 33. I appreciate your offer and pmd u back.

i don't know very many people from the forum. I do know tomato racing but he's leaving soon and kawasaki guy but i'm pretty sure he doesn't have a truck or trailer. sjc1000rr i'm pretty sure i've met you once or twice but wouldn't want to put that responsibility on a stanger. As far as hitches for my cars. They are both four cylinders over 15 years old with over 130k on them. I just don't wanna risk it. Plus i am bringing my entire family and we are making a weekend camping trip out of it so they will be loaded down with people and camping gear. I have 8 weeks until the day. Guess i need to become a more active member and meet some of u guys. lol

well after checking with enterprise from friday to monday is considered 3 days at $70 a day i will probably just rent if i can't find someone to roll with me. riding a bike 3 hours away. doing a trackday and riding 3 hours back is not an option.

for all of us non-truck non-trailer owners. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get bikes to and from the track. I am doing my first trackday in june and need a way to get the bike back and forth but i really don't want to depend on another person (i.e. borrow, have someone else trailer). I have thought about renting a truck. Any other suggestions.

I'm sorry but when we didn't hear anything yesterday I made othe commitments. I would really love to do the trackday but I can't. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause u and your organization. It really sucks cuz I never win anyhing and have been getting ready for the gingerman day so already have most of the stuff I need. Figured I would post it here and pm it. So Sunday is back up for grabs everyone. -
Sold to me. Thanks again.

I could go bankrupt at Iron Pony. There, I said it.
standout replied to redrocket04's topic in Daily Ride
Going to iron pony is like putting a crackhead in the middle of a walmart sized crack house. Even when I go to just try something on or look around I end up buying someThing. It's so bad I have 2 shirts and I started getting smaller ones for my wife and kids. Keep in mind I have gone thru 3 bikes in 3 years and none of them were perfect when I bought hem. Plus the gear changes and now getting track ready. -
desmond. Its a pretty good episode that has some answers but still leaves you wondering.

Sometimes I hate having a ps3 were still waiting. IMO the superior system with suck ass support.

that's how it starts. Then at the end of every episode thy leave u so confused u have to watch the next one. A friend of mine told me how awesome the show was but u have to watch it from the beginning otherwise your screwed. On a sidenote I kinda bought when they first mentioned Jacob and the other guy that this was gonna be a heaven and he'll type of thing but I hope it isn't.

can't believe i have missed this entire thread. I am a lost junkie. I had surgery a few months ago and was laid up in bed so i watched the first 5 seasons in the span of three weeks so i'm still pretty fresh on all the old info. Was kinda scrollin thru the thread and could answer a few of the questions but u guys just have so many. lol

If I had 24 hours to live I'd ride like this
standout replied to ShankroidBeast's topic in Pics and Vids
in the beginning of the video u see someone flippin a bitch and the chopper guy says he's lighting him up (turning on lights and sirens). Not sure why but they were definitely getting pulled over. -
well i tried all the suggestions above and the problem is diffinetly better but still there. I also noticed today that the handlebars actually move forward and backwards as i'm braking. didnt know if this could be an indication of another issue? The bike does have a gpr steering stabilizer that of course i am very unfamiliar with. It also has driven clip-ons wich eliminates the weighted bar ends. I have a bid on some rotors on ebay. we will see how this goes.
-
i will be riding........to work
-
Thanks for all the replies/ideas. I'm gonna try cleaning the rotors, and resurfacing them first before I replace them. I just wanted to make sure it couldn't screw anything else up on the bike.
-
it only does it under braking and only under a certain amount of pressure. if i use it lightly i can actually hear the pads rubbing/ hitting and skipping but it won't make the bars shake. if i apply them hard enough it does.
-
Just bought a new bike this year and with the great weather lately finally getting some miles on it. I know the rotors are warped because the handlebars shake when i apply the front brake. My question is can this do any other damage like to the wheel bearings or steering head bearings. Bike is a 2004 cbr 600rr.

if you like that you should also try backgrounder that lets u run multiple apps and theres another one that always makes your phone think it's on wifi so theres no downloading limit and video quality is much improved over 3g. i cant think of the name right now.

Jay...all the stuff u just listed I've Had to go thru and check or take apart on the cbr I just got. It's nothing we couldn't do with a weekend a chiltons manual and a twelve pack. I know gsxrs are very popular so finding a decent donor bike shouldn't be hard. I just don't know wich way is cheapest. Whatever u decide man u know my tools and my knowledge are at your disposal.
