  1. Loaded to imageshack but they have like 6 different links. not sure which one works best:o
  2. Well here is the new toy. Can't wait for the season to start. Uploaded with ImageShack.us http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/812/newbiked.jpg/
  3. Cool. I actually might go take a look at a 07 600rr this weekend.
  4. I'm learning just fine on the 1000 but i guess i would like something a little more nimble and novice group racing able. Its all subjective I guess. Any thoughts on a 600 that would accomdate 6'1" 250 lbs:D.
  5. Do you still have the motard? How about a ducati streetfighter, speed triple or equivalent. Sell my 1000rr and get a 600?
  6. Always liked the Ducati's and seeing the 1199 Poontangnaly today doesn't make choices any easier. That bike is Re-Tart-Ed! Anyways i'm looking for thoughts on what people would do. I've definetly have the track bug and I probably did just as many track days as I rode on the street this year. So I have a CBR 1000rr that I have been tracking and I probably have another year before i get the itch to participate in the races but is probably in my best interest to get a 600 but I still will want a street bike. But not sure having a $20,000 street bike for occasional street use is practical. I could easily sell my liter bike and get something comparable for the track and have the DUC also or save my liter bike for the street and buy a new R6 or equivalent for the track. What would you do?
  7. Also want to give props to Nate for getting me a good deal on some SupertechR's and a rear Q2 a few weeks ago. Probably be hitting him up for a helmet in a week or two. Just noticed my helmet is beyond its 5 year manufacturing date this month.
  8. Don't hate da playa Keith. The pron was telling my throttle hand to take a rest and just do a track day.
  9. I know you weren't. I was just relating to your statement.
  10. That was my second time riding with Nesba. You are forced to sign up novice through the website for the first time than the bump you up supposedly. I don't know what you have to do to get bumped up but I'm definitely going to request it next time. I think I'll be ok in the intermediate group:).
  11. Just in case anyone was having the winter blues. Here's a vid of me getting towed around at Beaver.
  12. Can I get a quote for all black vented in Euro 45 and also a price on a 190\55zr17 Dunlop Q2. Thanks.
  13. The average highs are in the 60's which is good. Now all I can hope for is no rain:).
  14. Already have the itch. Signed up and headed to Alabama on the 10th. Anyone been? Worth it? Looking forward to it.
  15. Thank goodness. That road blows. It felt like it could have ripped my TRS right out of my trailer floor.
  16. I'm fairly positive I have the complete set but won't be home until Saturday to verify. If so you can have for half the original price plus shipping.
  17. I have the complete DVD set etc. that I'm not using anymore.
  18. I probably did 7 trackdays last season and had a blast. I might of ridden a total of 6 times on the street. If you are doing a trackday a couple times a month sometime it's hard to fit in a street ride. I would love to commute more but it's hard to fit a baby seat on my bike to pick up the little one:).
  19. No set screw on mine either but sights seem solid. Knock on wood. I wonder if they will come out with night sights? But not being able to bolt something in doesn't make sense.
  20. Sorry to hear about your sights. It seems like ruger has decent customer service from various forums. I'll have to keep an eye on mine. Overall I'm digging the gun.
  21. Range Report: LC9 is double action only pistol and the trigger pull is long like stated before. Being a pistol noob (not new to firearms in general "ex-military") I didn't know squat about pistols I just went off of reviews when I purchased this gun. If you like a lighter trigger pull and single action this gun is not for you. With that I believed the gun performed well with my limited experience. I shot 100 flawless rounds through it today at (7yds)21 feet as part of my CCW class. We were shooting at a competition 25yd target with a 6" black encompassing the bulls, 10pt and 9pt ring. When I was aiming at the 6" black I had about a 98% hit rate. They put us through some drills like shooting left, right, and high center simulating nipples and head shots of perpetrator and accuracy was similar to aiming dead center. As I sit her at my kitchen table estimating distances in my downstairs I would have complete confidence in hitting any scum fuck that entered my premise with the LC9.
  22. I will be shooting my LC9 today as well for the first time. I haven't shot a pistol in a long time so we'll see but I'll report back.
  23. Note to self: "When I don't know how to handle my high horsepower car don't disable the traction control"
