Yesterday i rode to work and stopped for gas, there were about 5 bikes there and not 1 helmet or gear on any of them. They had the nerve to ask me why i was wearing all of that "crap" . I always wear atleast helmet, gloves, and jacket. Got pissed and left and yelled squid

I have a 2.3 liter Ranger and i hauled plenty of bikes in it. Def. not huge on power, but i use it for work also and get awesome mpg. Its good enough for anything ive ever hauled.

If all 3 back out I will def. take it. After my little accident last week im really looking for a quality helmet. That is the exact helmet i was looking for, but a little pricey brand new. That is a awesome price!!!

ya, I was at cherry point also. I think around 97 I believe. I lived in Newport, not to far from Bouge Field (dont remember how to spell it). Use to spend alot of time at Atlantic Beach. I also bought my first bike when i got back from my first deployment, Kosovo. Awesome read, brought back some great memories. Oh ya, SEMPER FI!!!!

I'm guessing you were also a MARINE. I was at Camp LeJune around the same time, 95 96. I had similiar experience because thatwas also when i got my first bike. Loved those summer evening rides. Great read man...

I really hope i can fix mine. I kinda like the older sportbikes, but if i do get another bike it will definitely be a KAW. Im gonna def. need a new front rim, handle bars, front fairing and clutch cover, so if anybody knows of any parts please let me know.

ya i did. i slid on my ass through the mud. I always wear all my gear so i only tore my pants and ripped the elbow out of my jacket. My bike wasnt so lucky.

Today on my way to work a older lady pulled out of her drive- way (without looking) and i almost broad sided her. I went into a ditch at about 50mph. Luckily i only slid through the mud, but my bike tumbled through the air. Scared the shit out of me. The funny part was her husband bitched her out cuz he rides too.

No Problem. Thanks for the great deal. Just wasnt in my budget to spend a couple hundred dollars on a jacket after spending $250 on a helmet. Once again this is why i like this site, riders helping riders. Thanks again

WTF... What a tard

The union where i work at is a joke. Luckily only the production employees are union. I get more vacation time and sick days than the union employees do, and i have better insurance. Also they get crappy raises. I think the only reason they have one is so we can sell things to companys that are unionized. I'm all for people getting better benefits and more pay, but only if the people are worth it.
