I do know what you're saying about the construction, I have a feeling if you take the paint off the metal will have pepsi logos on it. First year we did this I must've spent about $500-600 on required fireproof gear and about $700 toward the car/fees. You need good tires, rollcage, seat with 5point harness, sometimes fuel cell, and usually a ton of parts replaced for reliability. It isn't splitting $500 5 ways and then racing. Just a word of warning, the costs involved shocked me the first year.

In all fairness I went to see Mars Volta last night. Somehow them and Tiesto came to Columbus on the same flippin night. I couldn't not go see my favorite band. I love Tiesto's music, but if I'm seeing someone live, there's not as much performance involved in Techno.
