ERC was fun. Teaches you some good maneuvers which are especially useful in tight spaces. Not much for sport related cornering techniques (though that will depend on your level of skill) but a fun day nontheless. I recommend it fo sho!

On the other hand. I've just started seeing apps that are stated as "only for Droid or Nexus One". If I was a developer (especially for games due to graphics) I think you would HAVE to do that rather than troubleshoot for all the different hardware out there. So there are a lot of Android devices out there, but it's getting really splintered and I'm a bit concerned.

Not to my knowledge. I know Joe Rocket helmets definitely are. In independent tests the Icons always got good ratings for protection. Mine's also real quiet. **NEWS** Just in case anyone missed it. The OTA update for Droid and Eris is thought to be Jan 22nd. This should be the update to Android 2.1. Animated backgrounds, voice to text, more 3d (Droid has dedicated graphics processor), and just overall more polished, etc. For Droid the rollout of Flash player 10 should be sometime in Q1 2010. Hulu on your phone! (or Farmville . . . if you're gay)

Go 720p and pocket the difference. Beyond 4 feet most people can't tell the difference, not to mention most sources aren't true 1080p anyhow. Most home theater mags seem to agree on that. Anyway, that's a good deal.

Eenteresting advice guys. I have been hearing lots of conflicting advice about whether they smell (clean cage once a week), like to cuddle, or are just good pets in general. I've got some contact info for a rescue, I think I'll go check it out first hand. Unfortunately a dog or cat isn't an option at this point, between the landlord and the girlfriend I just can't win.
