  1. Bummer we folks who are there under civilian capacity can't get excused :-(
  2. Yeah but do the military employees ergo have to attend this to ride on base get excused from duties for the day?
  3. Why are they having this during a work day? Is the base off that day? I'm a reservist who spends a lot of time on base and want to do this but who gets this day off?
  4. For some context first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8DNGh126oM&feature=youtube_gdata_player Perfect girlfriend response:
  5. This is actually pretty true. I remember playing Counter Strike: Source on PC and i think 1 of every 10 games I played had someone who could fly through walls and instantly headshot everyone.
  6. Yup, the state ranges are absurdly cheap. It's like $20 for a year pass or $5 for a single session. There's a range in Delaware. http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/tabid/17601/Default.aspx
  7. No one called out this funny? Math says 1.1 trillion is 300 billion less than 1.4 trillion. Ironic retard comment. ;-)
  8. Plus it comes with slutty asian woman in bikini!
  9. Funny you mention Buell and Ducati. When I was shopping for my first bike, I fell in love with the XB9 and XB19 lightning and the Firebolt, but they were out of my price range at the time. 5 years later when I swapped out the R6 I went with the Ducati. I would still like to own a Lightning or Ulysses but as others have said, parts are going to become scare sadly. It's a shame really because they're so rare and really eye catching when they go by. But either way, Lightning/Ulysses/Monster, you won't regret swapping out the ZX-6 for as far as ride and enjoyment. The big-bore twin powerband is just so much more enjoyable for what most people ride.
  10. Damn, glad you're good. Bikes and gear are replaceable.
  11. Just finished chopping the giant fender off the Monster and figured I'd share a few pics. Like it a lot more now! Before: After: I wrote up an install guide over on Ducati.ms since the instructions were terrible in case anyone wants the play by play: http://www.ducati.ms/forums/42-monster/220849-installing-competition-werkes-fender-eliminator-monster-1100-evo.html
  12. @Mags: unless you're unlucky enough to build your PC within a year or two of major changes in standards. IE: my first gaming PC i built about 2 years before PCI-e became the new graphics card interface standard and shortly before DDR2 RAM was the standard. CPU sockets change too. So while you can upgrade components, in reality most new CPUs and RAM come with a new socket requirements, which means you gotta get a new motherboard. If you upgrade a PC after 3 years, odds are your going to be replacing everything but the case, optical drive, and HDD.
  13. You have to remember that a console doesn't require quite the same specs to output the same quality as a PC because your Xbox or PS aren't having to run all the extra bloat that a PC is simultaneously.
  14. Wait, everyone is getting pissy over fee's to activate used games and the solution is PC gaming? The land where digital downloads are taking over, you know, games you can't resell even if you want to?
  15. Agreed. Dude is like 91. If I was that age and this happened, my thought process would be "life in prison is like 2 fucking years, bitch is going down."
  16. Interestingly, Wright State's intramural rules state that for Co-ed sports, your gender is what you tell them it is. So, in reality, even if a sport says you have to have 3 males, 3 females on a team, you really can have an all male team as long as 3 of those males claim they describe themselves as female because they don't want to discriminate.
  17. Where is Adult Protective Services? Stuff like this is considered elder abuse... And how is the statue of limitations on fraud only 4 years? That's not a long time to get away with something.
  18. Performance is the least important factor. Unless you're Valentino Rossi. $100 says if you couldn't see or hear the bike, you'd never be able to tell the difference within Jap supersport classes. Just remember this when you put that fender eliminator, smoked windscreen, flush mount turn signals, and aftermarket exhaust on for the "performance" gains ;-)
  19. @IP: I will try the compression that way. There's one particular road that has almost a "wave" of cracks that send me bucking back and forth and I'll work on that. @D-B: what's this 10mm setting you speak of? Are you suggesting seeing where the suspension bottoms out completely and then using that as a reference point to set my sag, rather than the fixed point of the axle casting?
  20. tried that , problem is the manual is clearly for the older monster forks because it references clicks for the rebound and compression and the adjusters on the marzocchi forks don't clock, so it wasn't possible... I might try the recommended suspension settings that sport rider has listed and go from there...
  21. had one for my first bike. loved it, but the monster is more up my alley.
  22. what is on that? For some reason it looks like a swarm of bees to me...
  23. Dont know, haven't messed with it that much. So where should I leave this preload set? Since I can't get the 35mm static sag set and I really dont feel I should be maxing the preload on this bike.
