  1. I couldn't resist Also a perfect example of the racial double standard. Can you imagine a white guy performing this routine?
  2. It's not that it bothers us personally or that we want to use it (I know I don't), but rather that those who are not "allowed" to use the word have their lives ripped apart by those who would otherwise make millionaires of those who abuse this racist term.
  3. Sometimes I wonder if freedom of the press is helping or hurting America...
  4. 300lbs max load but double sized so you can "enjoy with a friend" better both be under 150lbs.

    Beer Pics

GTFO! This thread is ruined by the mere mention...
  6. You do, you just have to remind yourself that you're getting twice the "beer" for the increased price
  7. I should also add to add insult to injury, I went to Cadillac Jacks in Fairborn afterwards and got HORRIBLE food poisoning and spent the next 24 hours vomiting and blowing my ass out every hour.
  8. Yeah, they just built an entire new building for the wood shop and auto shop.
  9. Why might possibly? You're basically getting their 848 superbike engine in a slightly more ergonomically friendly package that retails at half a grand cheaper ;-)
  10. Streetfighter 848? 100lbs. lighter than the VFR and 132hp... Stronger than the 600s/675 but lower than the 1000s. Probably marginally more comfortable than a literbike.
  11. Holding out for the "well-endowed size groove" version
  12. Last year took my new-to-me Subaru to the base auto hobby shop for it's first oil change by me, put it up on the lift, drained some dark black fluid, lowered it back down and put the recommended amount of oil in. Started it up and drove it out the garage. Almost immediately it was having a really hard time shifting and would hang in neutral for a few seconds. After about 200 yards I realized the huge fuck up I had done: I'd drained the transmission and doubled up on oil... Carefully pushed it back to the garage and onto a lift. Checked the oil and sure enough, there was WAAAAY too much. Had to call a friend to take me down to Wagner Subaru at 4pm to pick up 5 new quarts of Subie tranny fluid, swing by and grab another 5qts of Mobil 1, and head back to fill up the tranny, drain nearly 10q of half bad, half brand new Mobil 1 out of the engine. Best part was getting to do all this over the course of 3-4 hours in front of a bunch of other guys working on their cars and the staff mechanics at the hobby shop. That was the last time I bothered doing my own car oil changes.
  13. I considered it, but that would have involved putting the bike on a boat to get overseas and I just couldn't live with knowing I had exposed the rest of the world to the threat of this monster. Only 2k miles will do that to brakes ;-)
  14. http://www.ebay.com/itm/330931338751?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 Bought one of these a week ago and it's been fantastic. Keep an eye out as they have been dropping the price to $305 periodically, slickdeals.net is your friend. Finding a used lens with more zoom for the rest of your budget shouldn't be too hard. And the auto shots are substantially better than my P&S Olympus. Few things to consider: -Megapixels are overrated in cameras and only impact image quality depending on how large of a photo you want to print. High MP doesn't mean better pictures. My dad's older Nikon D50 6.1MP DSLR camera takes incredible pictures that blows away higher megapixel P&S cameras. 6.1MP translates to around 3008x2000 resolution, well beyond the resolution of most screens you'd ever look at the pictures on and 8x12 pictures are no issue. -Zoom is only as good as the pictures you end up getting. How often are you really gonna use 30x and can you hold it steady enough to even get a good shot? -Learning manual shooting is really not hard. Took about a day to feel comfortable working with manual aperture and zoom. Took the below the 2nd day of owning my first dSLR in full manual mode:
  15. There is so much squid in this video it isn't even funny...
  16. +1, went from the R6 to the Monster after I married. Congrats!
  17. Seems like Yamaha is making clones of other companies marquee bikes lately. This cloning the Speed Triple and the Bolt cloning the Sportster
  18. Seems neat, but it's actually a terrible idea. Imagine how many people would be trying to time it out so they get off the line right on time, probably increases accidents.
  19. So yesterday I was about to head out for a ride and got about 50 feet before I remembered I needed to check my tire pressures. Turned around and went back then knelt down to unscrew the valve cap and this little freak popped out just a few inches from my face, scaring the crap out of me. Rode 10 miles to meet up with a friend with some decent speed and braking and he was still hanging out in there! Needless to say, this was one determined spider, so I pushed him out and let him live as I think this makes him a fellow rider.
  20. You can't make this stuff up: http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2013/06/naked-man-san-francisco-bart-subway-video.html On a side note, when will people learn to hold their cameras properly/why doesn't stuff like this get filmed by someone with a smartphone?
  21. Where the hell is the Quagmire KY smiley when you need it???
  22. I wash mine with the spigot outside our townhouse apt. No problems. Call the apt and see if they can fix the spigot or at least explain what's going on. Otherwise just pick up something like Motul Wash 'n Wax and use that. Works great!
  23. Nice! I have some of those beers hanging around right now.
  24. Except it's the wrong Angry Bird for explosions: That one will just hit a stone wall and make it tip a little then go right the fuck back to where it was :-(
