  1. I hope so, but it seems like a lot of the games coming out for XB1 are also XB360 games and probably "ported" to the XB1 after being developed for XB360 for the past few years. I guess after seeing the graphical masterpiece that was Ryse, I had higher expectations for the rest of the XB1 lineup.
  2. not overwhelmed yet. graphics are so-so... anti-titan weapons for pilots are a joke.
  3. Interestingly, we discussed this topic in a course on historical scientific revolutions in college. Since all motion is relative to another object, there are theoretical models of the universe in which this is possible. Though, I doubt that is the reason that many people responded that way.
  4. forgot my gamer tag. Forgive me, I made it like 10 years ago when I first got my 360: leet manbearpig Play COD, FIFA 14, Dead Rising, and Ryse. Mostly FIFA and CoD though. Need to get an [ORDN] squad!
  5. Don't forget to consider Victory. American-made in Iowa.
  6. I had a similar issue with the high beams on my R6. I always blamed it on not enough draw from the battery as the battery was fairly old.
  7. And they're pretty cheap. Downside is they ship directly from China, so it takes like 2 weeks+ to get them in.
  8. Honestly don't recall. It's been a long time. They had a single bulb pair motorcycle kit back then in h7
  9. I had a pair of DDM 6000k 35W HIDs in my R6 and they were still working just fine after 4 years when I sold it. I bought a pair of DDM 4500k 35W HIDs for my Subie about 2 years ago and they're still great. I wouldn't hesitate to get another set.
  10. That's why I have chat disabled by default in all games.
  11. And when people troll like a bonus like this guy:
  12. Anyone playing COD? We should get an ORDN squad
  13. Thought of you today since I remembered you have the same Impala as us. The wife told me the rear defroster wasn't functioning anymore and I took a quick google search and found out the harness literally burns out unusually frequently (http://www.impalaforums.com/diy-how-tos-and-write-ups/251292-rear-defroster-burnt-wire-fix-write-up.html). Seems a bit frightening that this problem is common and not a recall since this harness sits right next to the carpet. So if your rear defroster goes out, this is probably why. May even want to consider cutting out the defrost wire and splicing back together outside the harness to prevent this.
  14. Spent 2 months living in San Antonio on the Riverwalk while TDY at Fort Sam Houston. Recommendations: To Do: - Absolutely hike/bike the Mission Reach trail. The Alamo is the most boring of the 5 missions on the trail. http://www.sanantonioriver.org/mission_reach/mission_reach.php - Go see a movie at the Alamo Drafthouse. Food/beer service to your seat in the theater during the movie. Good craft beer selection too. I pray nightly they build these in Ohio. - Ranger Creek Distillery - Walk the Riverwalk and take a Riverboat tour - San Fernando Cathedral - SA Botanical Gardens - The Market is ok, a good place if you wanna see what is really just a giant tourist souvenir shop and about half the shops sell the same stuff. - If you go in the warm months, Schlitterbahn Waterpark in New Braunfels is a blast. - I see a kid in your photo, so Sea World would certainly be on the list. To Eat: Riverwalk is poor food other than a few places, and I've eaten at most of them as we stayed on the Riverwalk for 2 months. On the Walk - The Esquire Tavern. Old, dark, quirky, cheap, and delicious. Excellent mixed drinks and Texas-brewed beer selection. - Boudros. One of the best on the Walk. - Ocho. Small, cuban food, but great. - La Gloria: the only worthwhile TexMex I found in town, and I tried hard to find some. Lots of unique ala carte items. Both Las Margaritas & Mi Tierra by the market weren't anything you couldn't get in Ohio, IMO. - If you've never drank Mezcal before, The Worm has a few. Think smoked scotch + tequila. BBQ: - Augie's Barbedwire: best brisket in town - The Big Bib: best ribs in town - Rudy's: legendary in SA - The Salt Lick: about an hour north just south of Austin. One of the best BBQ places in the nation, all-you-can-eat for $20. Absolutely worth the drive, though bring another driver cause you'll be in a meat coma
  15. Thankfully my 2.5i Legacy isn't really much of a joyriding car, i suppose. This service won't be done for another maybe 1.5 years and it will still be under warranty at the time.
  16. Quick update, spoke with the manager again and he agreed to combine the 90k and 105k service: basically all belts, fluids, filters, and spark plugs for me, so I think it'll end up being a equitable solution. Yeah, I had thought about that... wouldn't the dealership be liable for any damages while the car is in their employee's possession?
  17. I've seen one Diavel in the wild. It was parked down in Bellbrook in front of a house under construction by Sugar Creek. Almost pulled over to admire it
  18. I already posted the difference, keep up: justice is, in essence, revenge that is just (moral), impartial, and based on merit. All three of those conditions are met thanks to selection of an impartial jury trial administering punishment in accordance with the law.
  19. Admittedly, Castro's a bad example. But my point is still that you can't say that someone killed someone, so we kill them, and therefore are no better. If I took someone, against their will, locked them up, and fed them for years (in essence, exactly like prison), is the state just as wrong for locking me up and feeding me for years against my will as punishment? The logic just doesn't stand up. ALL punishment can be construed as "vengeance" or "revenge" in some regard. Afterall, vengeance is simply "punishment inflicted in retaliation for an injury or offense" and I already pointed out the revenge definition. In fact, you said that killing an inmate ENDS their punishment, as if you favor life in prison because it PROLONGS their punishment... sounds like vengeance or revenge moreso to me. IMO, when you murder someone, you deprive them of years of life, their family of years of relationships, all their dreams, plans, loves, etc. Things they will never have another opportunity to pursue. By imprisoning someone for life, even if it's not a great life, it's still life experienced, and to me that is still FAR better than the fate given to their victims. And until we can "rehabilitate" the victims from death, I could care less if we had the world's best murderer rehabilitation program that would guarantee they'd be better humans. As an example, a woman at our church has a relative who's serving life without parole at Louisiana State Penitentary for 2nd degree murder. My dad and a few other guys from our church as well as his family go to visit him. He gets to visit family/friends multiple times per year, make artwork, there are parks and recreation facilities on the prison campus. Sorry, but for a guy like this article is about this would NOT be justice. If you want to Count of Monte Cristo his ass in solitary never to leave a 50 sq ft room without electricity and nothing but meals slid under a door for life? You might have my support, but as it stands life in prison in America is not justice for scum like the man executed today.
  20. It's an awesome concept: cruiser comfort, with super sport power, Italian styling. Really nothing else like it out there. Price tag ($19k base model MSRP) is way out of most people's reach.
