  1. Not to mention for 550 you can get a custom-made Spartan suit, new in box.
  2. Looks good, will look even better with some paint. I'd be a little concerned about the proximity of the headers to that top plastic piece, are you sure that's not going to get hot enough to warp the plastic or bubble the paint/clear?
  3. I don't know about Eastern European women, but if it's anything like Central European girls, they're mostly all hot as hell. There's strangely not a lot of middle ground, either they are completely ugly or they make you want to propose to them right then and there.
  4. in that case, that's a hell of a find.
  5. Did a hop from my house up 3 to Maxtown, ran some errands up there, then down to Easton via 270 and the Easton Motor Speedway (the elevated ramp to the Easton exit on 270S, hit about 90-95) ate some delicious Chipotle, then went home fat and happy. I puffed a lot of smoke when I started it up in my driveway, I guess there must have been some condensation in the engine. After a few minutes of engine load, it ran just fine.

    They got me.

My parents had to do the same thing a year or so ago. Reckless driving is pretty subjective, but you're still going on cop vs. you. Try to get there earlier and see if you can cut a plea with the prosecutor, chances are the reckless is pretty shaky and if you agree to the fine and points or whatever on the other charge the reckless will go away. Remember, the main thing muni governments are after is the money. Points are arbitrary and affect only you, its the fines that put the money in the local coffers and affects them. It's an incredibly shitty way of doing things, but that's the way the game is played.
  7. Sorry man, I got chopped from 3 weeks to 1.5/2. Apparently the expenses are pretty ridiculous out there for the little tiny plants we have to visit. so chances are I'll be in Brisbane and one other place.
  8. just rub some massengill in your exhaust, you'll get over it. Just found out it's US$300 bucks to rent a 650 for a day in Brisbane, Australia. Goddamnit so much. US$200 for a 125 scooter. Looks like I'll have to try and find someone to leech off of.
  9. Syncing them isn't that bad, just get a bottle or something you can feed fuel into the fuel line, the carbtune, a screwdriver, and a free throttle hand and away you go.
  10. That's what I thought. Not sure if I have the balls to try this with the RR, new headlight cases aren't cheap. Looks great regardless.
  11. Funny, I just went through this last year... The Morgan Carbtune is your friend, making sure your carbs are properly synced is the most important thing. After you have the best sync you can manage, THEN start working on this site: http://www.factorypro.com/tech/carbtun.html. A lot of these jets will be selected for you by Factory Pro or Ivan's depending on your intake/exhaust setup, but everyone's engine is different so you'll have to play with the float heights and needle positions. When I got my carbs back together, I happened to have a friend with a O2 sensor and a A/F gauge, we just stuck the sensor as far down the exhaust as we could then tweaked the carbs until we had a good mix.
  12. Well done. How did you break the seal on the headlight housing?

    iPhone OS 4.0

I've derived a good amount of my income from the support and configuration of lovely MS products. Now I'm movin' on up to San Jose and that dee-luxe Cisco apartment in the sky.

I'm not jumping shit so much as making an observation. We followers of the Empire don't wet our pants every Tuesday when the Emperor releases patches.

ah, a new Apple incremental software release. let the fanboy circle-jerk begin anew.
  16. ^^^^ dude, link that shit. Some of us are at work, that's just not cool.
  17. I am in the process of moving everything from Huntington to Kemba Credit Union. Apart from a few stragglers that I will have to call or visit in person, it's really not that hard to hop onto the vendor's website and change your banking info. Waiting for the debit card is the hardest part. With Kemba, I can *gasp* actually have transactions declined if they are over my balance. I'll deal with a little embarrassment for not being totally on top of my account if it means not getting screwed by multiple 36 dollar fees.
  18. hmmm, now I'm wondering if I should trade the RR for an F4i. I love the monoseat and really hate the couch, but the riding position isn't really conducive to long distance rides. tpoppa, how's about a trade then?
  19. King Arthur: How does it... um... how does it work? Sir Lancelot: I know not, my liege. King Arthur: Consult the Book of Armaments. Brother Maynard: Armaments, chapter two, verses nine through twenty-one. Cleric: [reading] And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, "O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths, and carp and anchovies, and orangutans and breakfast cereals, and fruit-bats and large chu... Brother Maynard: Skip a bit, Brother... Cleric: And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it. Brother Maynard: Amen. All: Amen. King Arthur: Right. One... two... five. Galahad: Three, sir. King Arthur: Three.
  20. my Dish Network can get a ton of movies in 1080p right now.
  21. How much of a pain is it to do a valve clearance check? The RR's got 31K on the clock and I know it's never been done. I've never taken the head off a motor before, so I'm a little skittish on doing it myself.
