  1. How's about a Mosin Nagant 91/30, a Mosin Nagant M44 carbine, and a Hipoint 9mm? That's about 300 bucks worth of guns for your Sigma. I even have a newly purchased 20rd box of 7.62x54 ammo for the rifles. Both rifles shoot clean, the 91/30 is numbers matching, the M44 is not.
  2. I can not only attest to the cleanliness of the interior (very clean), but to how comfy the seats are, especially after a trip to Mad River. This is an excellent truck, GLWS Howie.

I wouldn't mind going to this, anyone from Columbus want to come along?
  6. Makes sense. The second you stop defending your copyright or trademark is the second you start losing it, doesn't matter who or what is infringing.
  7. wow, this went to shit in a hurry...
  8. No problem. Mine was, but clearly there are other that won't be. All they can say is no.
  9. until you see one in a parking lot somewhere and you start thinking of what might have been. Ask a ton of specific maintenance and function related questions like when the fluids were changed and when, when was the chain serviced and send me a picture, spark plugs, and so on. If you get a good communication going and you're comfortable with the answers you're getting, it's going to make the buying and inspection process that much easier when you finally get out there. If you have to scratch and claw for information, it either means that the owner is unable or unwilling to give it to you, and unless they can procure hard maintenance records it's going to make inspection a PITA if you don't know what you're looking for or need to bring someone out who does. Either way, it's all about what you're comfortable with. I personally wouldn't let a temporary 7 hour nuisance deter me from getting the type of bike I really wanted (assuming it was in good shape) vs. something I was flippantly interested in.
  10. Possibly, that's who I was going through when I was debating on financing the RR. They couldn't cut the check without the title, and due to the distance I couldn't get the title to the bank without cutting the check. if you can get check in hand from the bank ahead of time, I don't see why two trips are needed either.
  11. if I had the disposable income, I'd rock the crap out of this. Hope it goes to a good home.
  12. Unless he's getting a personal loan, every bank I've worked with doesn't work that way. They want the title on the spot then the bank pays the seller, not you.
  13. lollerskates Go to his garage and key the GTO, then buy him some touch-up paint.
  14. Yep. I bought my RR from a member on here, I was fortunate enough to have access to a Sprinter van that had wheel chocks onboard. I made sure to find out as much info as I could ahead of time, then loaded everything up on the Sprinter and drove 3 hours to pick up the bike. Since I had cash in hand I was able to test ride it, everything felt good so I picked it up.
  15. /edit: This is a little more me. I'll be weaving in and out of your Ultra Glide, giving you the finger as my midget passenger moons you all the way down 270.
  16. whatever. you still coming to the christmahanukwanzaa party?
  17. No, it's not "your used double-sided kong dong or XXXL butt plug", but "the gently used double-sided kong dong or XXXL butt plug" Amber and I might have some stuffs, I'll get with her tonight.
  18. Just an FYI, the IRPY stock symbol is open for the NYSE or Nasdaq. I would like a cut of the IPO for doing this research though. Congrats guys.
  19. follow the link that jblosser put up, it's still on liveleak.
  20. I hate to quibble with you Street, but can you tell me where it says that property obtained with a warrant that is meant for use as evidence in a trial can be freely destroyed by the State? I would think that's destruction of evidence, or since the trial is complete, destruction of private property, a crime all by itself. Given that the evidence they are looking for is digital and accessible without having to destroy the property, I'd think that's a little counterproductive. Now that being said, if there was so much as a scratch on them I'd add it to my suit for wrongful prosecution.

    Oshp....

Did you buy the car from Florida and are driving it up here for the first time? If so, you have exigent circumstances and you can easily get off the hook. If the car has been in Ohio for a while, registered to you with a Ohio address, Ohio plates, etc, then using this defense will only serve to piss the judge off. It seems to me like you have more than enough to go on to get a lot of these thrown out like the lack of a tint test, so the only thing you may get dinged on is the failure to display for the front plate, and even then if you show the prosecutor you have it fixed, it's possible that might be plead down. Welcome to the Ohio Revenue Service.
