i've been riding two years and already on my fourth bike. lol. i just sold my 05 636 and regret it, cuz it was the bike i put the most amount of time and money into.

i just picked up an 06 gixxer, otherwise i would've loved to come check out your rr.

holy crap...8500 is a great price for that bad boy! i say, if it's paid off, keep it!!! you'll never find another rr as sexy as that one you got right there.

not sure if you're still eyeballing the bike, but i have to say that it's one of my favs as far as handling and looks. I just sold mine and sorta regret it. i just got a 2006 gsxr and it feels nothing like the 636. it feels so much wider and heavier than the 636. the 636 is much more fun to ride in the twisties than the gixxer. i prolly wouldn't pay that much for one that has 10k miles (even though it looks like there are some add-ons). I picked up a mint one towards the end of the riding season last year for 4700 with only 1700 miles. it wasn't the color i wanted but ended up swapping the plastics.

Ahh the 'Free' stamp in your avatar. Just saw it for the first time last weekend when I was in Parma. Man, cleveland roads are baaaad!

Most people on here are pretty level headed when it comes to that stuff. We get on it on backroads w/o traffic but w/ twisties but highway speeding at 120+ is a bad idea.

Anyways, I don't know many riders around the area (columbus) and the ones I do know are going to get me killed one day. Sure, I like going fast from time to time, but my buddy, who I usually ride with, is always going 120+ on the highways (sometimes w/ a passenger). So I'm just looking for some new people to ride with. I'm usually at bike night over at QS&L - I was the one who won the sportster - no, j/k.

Also, I'm usually working on my bike and always looking to learn. So if anyone needs to work on their bike I have a garage and some stands and tools. Cheers!

I've been going to harbor freight tools to check out some supplies, but not quite sure what all I need. I don't even have a compressor to begin with. So I'm in, if anyone wants to teach me
